hello, I wanted to ask you a favor, unfortunately I can't speak to Theresa's father due to a game bug. You could do a save like the one proposed with the history of Woman's Lot? so I can finally have the dog ...I have already tried everything, remove the mods, download the game, verify the integrity of the game, start the mission immediately after waking up at the mill and nothing worked (always starting a new game, so it took me several days)
This has nothing to do with the actual mod, which is great by the way, but how did you fight all those badguys so early in the game? I m an experienced player, but in this stage, I only can kill a single bandid. Not even three bandids, let alone cumans. Has this something to do with the update? F.e. when the cumans come after me, I have to block. But because there are multiple, the hits keep coming and within seconds my stamina is gone. When I try to hit, it get's blocked or countered and both of the times I got flanked by another cuman (or bandid). Eitherway, by fighting or blocking my stamina is gone in seconds and then it takes another mere seconds to die. Also, a lot of times I got to land 3 arrows in an (semi armored?) badguy, and he still lives and attacks me. So I can't even safely lower the numbers on me.
Reason I asked this, is because I am really liking your save, but for me personal, it's a bit to much. It doesn't feel like an up-to-rattay playtrough I would have made. Well, it does allmost, but first of all I wouldn't loot and trade as much. I do later on in the game, but I like to 'react' to the story, so when my father is waiting for me to bring him the charcoal and later when everything and everyone is plundered and murdereded (or allready has been and I want to bury my parents), I just don't and only loot (and trade) what I come across. This also goes for killing people. It feels right to be on the run, instead of turn around and kill everyone. You know you just can't. But I should at least kill on of the attackers of Theresa. They totally ignore me, so even if I would have been a farsighted one-legged child, I could have easily slide my sword trough one of the attackers throats. And in this way there are more examples, where I could have killed a badguy. When fleeing and coming across the crossroad where you see those cumans and peasants (near the church), why can't I take out my sword and slash those cumans when riding my horse? And on my way to bury my parents, when seeing the three bandids near Skallitz, they should be dead. They don't notice me, until my first arrow pierces one of the bandids. Then they run to me from afar, which gives me the chance to fire another 2 arrows, or 3 if they stagger a bit more and give one a 'you're already in front of me and I pierce your face with an arrow' shot. So before fighting, they are hit with three to four arrows. So why the **** can't I win from them?!? This should be the case and is totally what I would do. So this is how I would like to make my savefile. Following the sotry, not straying from the path and only react (loot/fight/kill) to what comes on your actual path. With these 'circumstances' I would like to create a savefile. But I just can't. I just keep on dying. Any thoughts on this?
After of course, the typical newbie start and not wanting to burn 5 hours getting there again I say THANKS for this saved game.
If you are just starting to play I recommend that you do a run through as far as just getting past waking up at the miller's house. That way you know the backstory to that point. Then if like me you want a fresh start without a 5-hour tutorial... Load THIS file.
The only thing I am finding slightly bugged is I can't get the Pickpocket training to conclude. I predict it must have already been done.
