I've made a new mod that does basically the same thing but works with the latest version of the game (and should hopefully keep working forever): https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/1226/

The mod doesnt seem to be working. The prices are alot higher, but the kits break just as frequently as ever.

Looks like the stats for the small and large blacksmith kits might be mixed up. Small kit weighs and costs more than the large kit.

I'll check that--thanks for pointing that out.

Would it be possible to add a version that further reduces the minimum durability for repair? I have 20 maintenance and I can't repair a 43 dur. item that is orange color! What's the point of having the orange, red, and X if Henry can't fix any of it and blacksmiths can fix all of of it?

Still experimenting. There will be an update at some point when I have a chance and I intend to lower this.

I have made a fix for this issue.

      1) download the file https://workupload.com/file/LxZj7K3Q
      2) put it in the same folder as Reparkit_Overhaul.pak

Items with 0 durability can be repaired.
      Wrong durability of repairkits fixed.

Thank you mate. I works with 1.6.2 and from the Ashes right ?
Because latest AJStoner's version doesn't work for me. I mean the weights are wrong. Still 0.5 etc

Anybody else having issues with the weapons added in From The Ashes? For some reason this mod turns those weapons invisible. All other weapons appear to be fine.

Maybe, but why be an asshole about it? Does it give you a fuzzy feeling inside?

I like the idea of better repair kit with more weight.
But on the other side, the weight you can carry is very limited in this game.
So I have to consider, but I have to disagree with NOBODY :-)

I appreciate this mod. You know why? Because I can't see a hammer and some other tools rolled up in a leather pouch disintegrating as they seem to in vanilla. Like, heavy, yes.....put it on horse, use when needed. Seems so simple and a good thing to prep and have on hand, err.....horse.

Sure, I guess. I'll come up with a few variants when I get the chance.

Thank you kindly. It still needs a little tweaking but I like it so far.

I was hoping that the anvil could be enabled for repairing armor the way that the grinding wheel is.

I don't know what to say about tailoring and cobbling.

Possibile with scripting as there are npcs that use the annimations but that is beyond my capacities at the moment.

Very cool modification ... a true enhancement to existing game with real-world pros and cons to measure and not a cheat, hack or just outright abuse of it.

    Thanks.
