It's kind of wild to me that a game that goes the extra mile on the realism isn't drowning in the famed weapon of the peasant conscript: spears and pikes
Why do you think they were "kinda-but-not-really" removed from the game my dude? :v
In the hands of players they turn every combat into easy mode, and the biggest problem is that it would just grind the gameplay into a halt because you would have to carry them yourself, and lug it from place to place with poor mobility and not having the ability to sprint.
The devs, sadly, just did not know what to do with them, or, they just didn't have the time to make polearm combat a thing. Just like they kinda skimmed through the axe and mace combat.
Regardless, they are most definitely pure battlefield weapons and the fact that they can be wielded during mass combat at least does make some sense.
"polearms seem a bit too overpowered" Yes, they are... there is a reason polearms and spears were the number one weapon in the world for a very, very, very long time. Contrary to the movies, swords and axes were back up weapons not the primary used in combat. This even was true for Samurai.
its not working for me :( but i did put it in the kingdom come data but it doesnt work pls if there any way to make the mod work for me pls tell me ;-;
not compatible with the restore halberds mod. you can buy them but once dropped they cant stay in your inventory , so not really useful. the best combination would be this, the restore halberds mod, and some scale down on the damage too (like the rebalance mod, they forgot the polearms in)
There is a 2 handed club that Runt uses in the 1st encounter, but you never find it ever again. Interestingly, if they kept the stance and swing animation of Runt using a club, it's likely possible to have and swing a greatsword also in this game, but it never got to that point.

But what is the folder name?
I tried to create folder with the name: Blacksmiths_Sell_Polearms, but still no luck...
