Seems like the saddlebags break all the time.. 0 condition twice in a row now. Cant repair it either so have to buy a new one.. Probably a bug or a miss in the code on your part? Hope you can fix it, because no other parts of the horse tack breaks in the least so far. Everything is at 100%, except saddle, which seems to go 100-0 % somehow, even without being damaged.
(The saddle does work however, meaning it doesn't get unequipped, and it also lets you keep the added carry bonus, even though it's at 0% durability.)
did you ever check your saddle durability before? saddles only have durability of 1, so they just go from 100% straight to zero when they degrade. that happens to me and i still have yet to install this mod
Oh silly me, that's probably it then. Not sure why they'd break at all since my horse hasn't been hit but atleast I know there's not a problem caused by this mod. Again, thank you for the mod, and also for the reply.
In KCD 1.9.6 the cobbler repair kits were insufficient to repair a damaged Noble Saddle. Only the Cobbler could repair it. Unequip saddle from the horse and move it into your inventory before asking the Cobbler to repair. He cannot repair it otherwise.
I'm not sure if its a compatibility issue or what but after installing this mod my saddle went to 0 durability and every time I try and buy a saddle from a trader the game instantly ctd's. Does anyone have any advice for me?? As of now I'm half way into the game which is now unplayable. Halp!! UPDATE: Totally coincidence and NOT any fault of your mod. Many apologies The 1.3 update was causing crashes for a lot of people apparently. I love this mod! thank you :D
Saddle durability does mean something in 1.9.6 Saddle damage reduces saddle capacity. Repairing saddle restores capacity. Default durability is 1. There is a mod to increase durability to 50. I don't consider that a cheat since saddles are made of leather not tissue paper.
Do you have a version that doesn't flat-out change the game's files? That would be quite appealing to both of us, because PTF is the only reason I won't install this. That is, until you make a non-replacement, standalone saddle mod.
I solved it, since the rear saddle bag remained brown to me (my version v1.9.6. with all the DLCs) I entered both folders of the 2 files downloaded in Mods. there is only a small problem, all the rear bags with 4 saddlebags are black, the saddles are not, but that's okay with me. sorry for the english.
io ho risolto, siccome a me la borsa della sella posteriore mi rimaneva marrone (la mia versione v1.9.6. con tutti i DLC) ho inserito tutte e due le cartelle dei 2 file scaricati in Mods. rimane solo un piccolo problema, tutte le borse posteriori a 4 bisacce sono nere, le selle no, ma a me va bene. scusate per l'inglese.
