It was easy enough to add this in to different reshade. It seems when you enable effect, it uses default settings. I combined this with the Perfection ReShade.

Hey, I didn't knew about this shader until some days ago and I am finding it very good. Found it by chance somehow I don't even remeber where. But I wanted to know where it was from and if you ever see this, know I am grateful to you.

Sorry of rmy mistakes in English, I just wanted to say thanks.

I believe I said it back then and I'm going to say it again:
THIS IS THE BEST RESHADE MOD FOR THIS GAME!!!

I've been using this shader in pretty much every game for the past year, having a sharp foreground with a softer background looks great in most titles and avoids the sharpening artifacts that most methods have in the distance. Having that in one shader is just awesome, especially one with almost no performance hit. Great work.

Perfect touch to the game... Thank you so much!!! :D

EDIT: Using this mod in combination with "Reforged ENB" is simply sublime...

    1.) Vanilla

    1.11 Debug

    1.1 Debug

    2.) 1.11 with ReSahde

    1.1 with ReSahde

    PS:

Look, not just the tree leaves, but also the background trees, as well!
For FullHD resolution images, go to:

Download the images 1.) and 2.).
Apart from ReShade what the difference between those two pics?
Especially, Aliasing-free lightweight Sharpen and Static-Dof Shader.

Please, say, if I am understand. :)

    Something different.
    r_sharpening.

I do not use any sharpening effect just your mod, this mod.

When my game loaded, usually I check my user.cfg file. Mainly if I am trying to do something. (that was sharpening)
ATM, I do not use any sharpening effect just your mod, this mod.

    - When I am FPS view and see my r_sharpening value it's = 0.
    - When I start a conversation it's swich to 0.7
    - When I finish conversation, and again I am FPS view sparpening = 0
    - and so on, and on, and on, ... etc...

    1.) I don't wheter it's good or, not?
2.) This is, how is it should have work?
3.) If I am 1st person view, that's mean I do not get any sharpening effect from your mod?

I am also a little bit confused.

Tryied 1.11, and 1.1. Behaves the same.

I need any informarmation from you!

    Thank you!

      Oooops. Maybe I was wrong.
I have never left, with or without any mod that issue.

It looks doesn't matter wheter do I have ReShade, or not. So, it semms to pure Vanilla game behave the same way.

      I am right!

The most recent version doesn't blur the foliage if they sky is in the background. I had to revert to the last version for it to work.

It still blurs it, but less that previous version because :
      - Pixels of the sky aren't blurred (with the foliage) anymore. (However pixels of the foliage are still blurred with the sky).
      - close-by contours aren't blurred as much as far way ones, reduce contourDepthExponent to 0 if you don't want that.

The previous version (1.1) still works the same like that, without the sky being blurred. In the debug you can see the sky is green, and the tree's contour lines stay consistent even when the sky is in the background. In version 1.11, however, the sky has no debug color and any foliage with the sky behind shows the blur contour almost disappear, resulting in everything below the skyline being blurred, but if you see any foliage above the skyline it is not blurred. So it looks weird when you see the bottom half of a tree blurred but the top half is normal. Even adjusting the parameters doesn't do anything to fix it.

      Hi,

Just now had time try about what are you talking about...
One of "my" ReSahde preset I use that mod of OVNI.

      Pulloxo7 has right.

This pictures just couldn't be made with the newer version! I am sure!

Even if I change contourDepthExponent to 0 at version 1.11 just almost look like 1.1.
With contourDepthExponent to 0 it blurs (AA) object close (very close) to my character.

I didn't have time to make pics, try it out. I know what Pulloxo7 talking about.
If later I'll have time, I will creat some pics to compare.

contourDepthExponent to 0 almost good with 1.11, but blurs closer object, as wll. Compare to 1.11.

"but if you see any foliage above the skyline it is not blurred. So it looks weird when you see the bottom half of a tree blurred but the top half is normal. "

      Now just wierd. ugly.

Yes, absolutely right. And yes, contourDepthExponent to 0 not the best solution.

      Bye!

PS: Try it out, with debug mod.

I tried both versions and didn't see much difference outside of debug mode.

      The same sequence...

And at distance, 1.11 "almost" nothing AA; blur, while 1.1 has.
(Static-Dof Shader) It looks edges with 1.11

The blue line's thickness in debug mode is not a representation of blur amount.
It simply colors the (central) blurred pixels; but more blurred pixels doesn't necessary mean more blur (or not as much).

Do you have the corresponding non-debug screenshots ?

      OVNI,

      Later, I will post some.
Shortyl, go put to the countryside, where you mostyl see distant tress.
      - I would really courios about how much distand blur do íou gave the def. 1.11?
      - And 1.1:

As you see, I made some test. I think I made it well, and experienced the same, what Pulloxo described.

      Bye.
