There was a problem with the .ini files that prevented this preset to work when the game was installed on another drive or another location on the PC than on mine. I updated the file, and it should work fine now. If it still doesn't work, press shift+F2 and make sure to: -Set the correct paths to the texture and the shaders folder in the settings tab ( it should be (yourdrive)\(install location)\Kingdomcomedeliverance\Bin}Win63\reshade-shaders\shaders/textures -Make sure the preset is selected by pressing on the down arrow on top of the screen and selecting the "(installlocation)\Bin\Win64\UnbelievableshadersKCD.ini" entry. -Press print to turn on or off the preset.
Hey, I really like the mod when I manually install it. It looks great and I want to use it all the time. Is it vortex compatible? Everytime I try to use vortex the mod doesn't work and pressing print of shift f2 doesn't work. Just wondering. Thanks.
When using this mod, I cannot access option menu (ESC), Inventory-Journal-Char-Map button (I J P M)(Default). But codex (N) can, movement, jump, crouch & sprint okay too. Is the button clashing with the reshade quick button or something else ?
Into the game folder where it does say to put it, modified the paths from dxgi.ini even after the first crash. It only crashes with it.The only mod that i have installed that lets say maybe could affect it would be "Texture streaming improvements", but i took it out and still the same, besides that i only have mods in Data folder.
Managed to get it to work, its probably something you can actually add to the description of the mod. It wasn't a problem with your mod, but with reshade.
All i had to do it rename dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll and dxgi.ini to d3d11.ini. Now it works very well.
How did you get the idea to rename them? It must have something to do with your operating system or your graphics drivers I would say. I will put it in the description, thanks for letting me know!
Had the same Problem and renaming the dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll and dxgi.ini to d3d11.ini did the trick for me, thanks! I think I had at some point the same problem but with another game.
Dxgi to d3d11 is a common solution, also for Sweetfx crash. I believe dxgi doesn't work when you have overlays(Steam, Nvidia) on in the background. Weird thing is, I never have overlays on. Renaming always does the trick for those crashes though.
So, for some reason the mod doesn't work for me. When I press shift+F2, nothing happens. Same thing with the print-key. I do get the message about the shader when launching the game, so the mod should be active. Maybe there's something fishy going on with my keyboard or something? I tried renaming the two files, but it didn't help.
EDIT: And now randomly pressing shift+F2 worked and the mod works flawlessly now. Except for the print-key. I wonder what's wrong with that one...
