Hey guys, sure thing! Uploaded it to Youtube right away, but due to my slow connection it took some time. It's now available at the "Videos"-tab!
Let me know what you think and please keep in mind it's just a start. I've put way more work into the technical aspect of the mod, than the quality and content itself. <3

I'm working on an higher quality version, as well as one for ultrawide (21:9) usage right now.
Up next is a new, more calm Intro Replacement. Let me know what you think!

I can't make this work with 1.9 version. I have tried with the MODS/DATA folder and it doesn't do anything

As I far as understand, renaming the "intro.usm" file into "intro_pc.usm" as describe here works perfectly fine with v1.9.x (I made it with that mod, ... anyway I didn't test it myself with this mod).
The mod system and filepath are the same, so it must works here.
(you can also use 7zip instead of Winrar.... generally x) )

Thanks for the mod! Now, how could I do the same? That is, programs, processes, etc. I have been trying but I have not managed to make it work, I would like to make my own version and maybe share it with you too. Thanks!

    Does this work for 1.7.2?
edit 1: My bad it does, Just follow BAPWAS Instructions below

"The first three steps are from Krytern.

1/ Go to the Mods folder and create a folder called "Epicintro"

2/ In the Epicintro folder create another folder called "Data"

3/ Download mod, extract it and put "zzz_Epicintro.pak" into the Data folder.

Now here's the catch with 1.5 patch.

    4/ Open "zzz_Epicintro.pak" using 7zip or Winrar

5/ In 'Videos' folder, rename 'intro.usm' file to 'intro_pc.usm'.

    6/ ENJOY!

I say, good work with this video, it feels really EPIC. But a little longer version would be appreciated, like 20 more seconds. Ya, i have HDD.
I appreciate Warhorse studio for this excellent game and the patches that are coming with a lot of bugfixes and new features also. But with each update, some mods stop working. I'm having a couple of mods and now i'm afraid of which mod is broken."

Using Bapwas's solution down below does fix this mod for 1.6.2. I would really love to see an ultrawide version of this mod. If anyone knows how to add uw support I'd be grateful.

      It still works with 1.4.1

      1) extract the zzz_EpicIntro.pak from the .rar
      2) create a new folder called "Data"
      3) put the "zzz_EpicIntro.pak" into the Data folder
      4) Create a new folder and give it a name ("EpicIntro" for example)
      5) Put the Data folder into the "EpicIntro" folder
      6) Put the "EpicIntro" folder into the Mod folder (within the main directory)

      Why are your steps backwards?

1/ Go to the Mods folder and create a folder called "Epicintro"
2/ In the Epicintro folder create another folder called "Data"
3/ Download mod, extract it and put "zzz_Epicintro.pak" into the Data folder

Yeah, I did that it still doesn't work. It seems that the SYS_LoadingVideoScreen.xml file has been changed in 1.4, which stops this mod from working. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the previous version of that file to see what is different.

edit: huh, I had done this first after the 1.4 update when it stopped working, and it still didn't work. I just tried again, and it's working fine, so I wonder if the 1.4.1 patch got it working again, or if it was because I had also done a revalidation of my files after the 1.4.1 update had broken some other things as well. Anyway, yes, I can confirm that it does work if it's placed in the Mods directory.

If you don't have it then you create it. Kingdom Come Deliverance\Mods\ =Where \Data and \bin folders are.

I'm bummed. I had this working for 1.4 but with the 1.5 updated it stopped working. Anyone know a way to make this work with 1.5?

Since @hinti21 hasn't reported any problem after my comment, I guess it's safe to say you could simply do the same.

@ElvenChaos, @PillowBiter, @hinti21 - The problem is on your end. You need to update your software. This uses RAR5 format, so if you're using an older version of WinRar (4.xx) or an older version of 7zip you need to update them in order for them to open this file.

I'm amazed that people have such old software still installed on their machines, especially when they're playing such brand new games. WinRAR 5, which introduce the RAR5 format, came out in 2013 ffs! Honestly, my guess is many people use an old pirated version of WinRAR and never got around to downloading a new one. As for free 7Zip, there is no excuse.

I updated 7zip about 6 months ago, so didn't see the need... but I'll go update again and see how it goes, seeing as there's been a couple updates this year. Thanks.
