If you delete or overwrite any vanilla files and you need to role back remove modded files then Verify the games files through steam, only take few mins to replace any missing files and your good to go.
After following the instructions and replacing the engine.pak in the engine folder, I ran the game and the title screen was black though in game options can be seen. It also set my resolution to something else. After loading the game, the music plays but its just a completely black screen forcing me to Alt F4 out of the game.
Tried your new version, the title screen is no longer black, but loading a save game still goes to a black screen which you have to alt F4 to close the game. Even the menu doesn't work.

It removes screen space shadows, not very noticable.
