I think this was causing crashes for me, at completely random times. I have a pretty weak CPU so maybe it was doing too much. Pretty rare but only happened with this mod. Had to uninstall cause hardcore.

Sorry to hear you had trouble. With the uninstall, everything will be exactly as it was before

So I don't have to extract or install this into mods?

No, you don't have to. You can download with Vortex for convenience, or manually. You can run the files from any folder and they will work.

Another Possible fix from the Reddit

What you do is open the game and get to the main menu. Bring up your task manager and click on 'Performance'. Go to the screen that shows you CPU usage per core. You may notice that one core is absolutely maxed out. Remember which one that is for you.

Now go to 'Processes', or 'Detail' (WIN10) and find the Kingdom Come Deliverance process. Right click and go to 'Set Affinity'. You want to uncheck the core that was maxed out for you. Click 'OK. Now right click on the process again, Set Affinity and recheck the core you unchecked. If you go back to the Performance screen you will see that it is now behaving like the rest of your CPU cores.

Get back into the game, go to 'Settings' and change it back to 'Fullscreen'. It will always change it to 'Borderless' when you Alt+Tab or access a window not in the game.

Go to Rattay and see how your performance goes. For me, it went from drops that hit 30fps to drops that only hit 40-45fps, 60fps+ everywhere else.

Keep in mind that if this works for you, you will have to perform these steps every time you load up the game. Always remember to change Borderless back to Fullscreen.
