Like @alelom said, make sure you dont have "Very Unintrusive Reticle" mod installed since that mod edits the same file. Otherwise im not sure why it wouldnt work for you.
It looks like "Very Unintrusive Reticle" edits the same file CCH uses. You could try and open both files in GIMP (thats what i used) or another Editing Program, and copy the reticle from "Very Unintrusive Reticle" over to your CCH mod. It would requires some knowledge of how to use those programs but its essentially just copy and paste, nothing to serious. Hope this helps!
Is it possible to have a version of this mod that enables the healthbar for hardcore mode? Also, is there a way to remove the ticks on the compass that show the cardinal directions, like in your last screenshot? I didn't see a version with that in the files section.
My ideal version of this mod would be to have the cleaner healthbar (enabled in hardcore mode), cleaner reticle, and cleaner compass without the ticks showing cardinal directions.
Let me know if that's at all possible; I think other people would be interested as well (I've seen a lot of folks out there looking for a way to enable the healthbar in hardcore mode). Either way, fantastic mod!
I added a new file with cleaner reticle and cleaner healthbar with the compass marks removed. Hope this works for you! As for the healthbar in hardcore mode, i wouldnt know how to do that since this mod is just me editing a single file in GIMP using my basic MS Paint skills lol.
I did not even consider the health bar, since this mod is intended for hardcore mode. But ill see what i can do. I will reply to you if i have figured something out!
I downloaded the "cleaner reticle" but it's showing up as the regular yellow one? I thought at first it was because of my "bow reticle" mod so I disabled it but that didn't help any, any thoughts? I was really hoping this mod would work for me because the other compass mod for HC makes it where you can't even use the console command to show the reticle with a bow.
Really like the mod. Gonna try it out on my next playthrough.
I have no idea if this would be hard to make work or even impossible but I'm gonna ask anyways: Is it possible to make the far away icons on the edges of the compass look they're not under the original compass frame? Not a huge deal but I think it would improve the mod.
I know exactly what you mean, but sadly i have no idea how to do that. If i figure it out in the future or someone tells me how, then i will most certainly update the mod!
