* Main objective of this tool - solving issues with constant game freezes. * This is not FPS improve tool, instead you even can notice some FPS drops during use, at least in towns and stutter heavy areas. Low end weak systems may not handle this, but you can try though. * I made BAT file to autolaunch game + BES with autolimiting. Details in mod description. * You can use an alternative known way to solve freezings problem without any tool (added to general mod description) (suspicion of less stability) * You can do experiment and try other values besides -2% and check how it will go, its totally safe because you can always change it back. * You can try change some options with Vsync in nvidia settings, like set "Adaptive" instead just "On", or "Fast". Change your "Texture filtration" to "Higher performance", or use custom config file. Some users reported that may help.
ps: my english is far from being good, i apologize if it is weird :(
This tool rocks! Was getting bad stutters with i5 6600K (4.4ghz) + 1660ti + 16gb ram using only Optimized Graphic Presets, and this tool fixed the stutters! I still get some drops at towns, but now game is playable! Thank you very much!
I just want to add some comment, maybe it will help other people. my stuttering was almost completely gone (HD textures on , ultra high settings , pc) - once i enabled HDR on my windows..
Fleshek, you first gotta have a HDR compatible monitor To enable HDR, you go to Settings > System > Display, or left-click on your Desktop and click Display Settings The HDR setting should be like the second or so option available If you don't see it, or if it is darkened, then most probably your monitor is not HDR compatible and you can't enable it, as far as I know
I'm not sure to 100%, but it shoudn't be, because it is just low level hardware tuning soft, and does just what is made for - limiting cpu cores by software throttling.
Thank you so much for this fix, it's amazing. When I started playing the game I had to put every setting on low and it still would run choppily. Doing this little fix I'm able to play on high with the HD texture pack at a stable framerate.
EDIT: turns out it was a GPU drivers incompatibility issue all along causing the problems, as soon as I fixed that I didn't need this tweak anymore. Still, it worked while I had the old drivers so it's still useful for anyone experiencing the stutter problem.
I need some help. I believe that I am doing something wrong.1- I open BES and put the limiter at -2% 2- I open the KCD limited for steam 3- The following sentence appears: D: \ games \ BES_1.7.6 \ BES.exe windows cannot find. But I installed it on my ssd in the directory C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ KingdomComeDeliverance 4- The game opens, even if this message appears. 5- My 06 colors are still running at 100%.
thx for this tool, works as intended, some stutters are still present here and there but no longer getting freezes, as far as frame loses goes i lose about 6-8 a trade which i gladly take insted of a freeze tested it in rattay, under torential rain on the horse full gallope, on an i5 core, so yeah prty pleased with how good it works :)
*note for some reason i also seamed to gain about 4-6 frames when outside of the towns :))
i will however start a new game since my last save was late 2018 early 2019 (just felt the each to replay a good rpg)

-3% did the trick for me (Xeon E3-1231v3).. Thanks for sharing this (Y)

I'm probably doing something wrong.
Right click on shortcut -> Run As Administrator
For using batch file you probably need set that rule (Run As Admin) in properties (compatilbity) and check your paths.
