The problem with the spots is that they are preset in the horse's skin and will show no matter what. I can, of course, make an all-white Al Buraq with the best stats but can't get rid of the spots. As far as I can tell there's two presets for the horses' spots: spots and a bid splotch in the hindquarters. I can try and give Al Buraq one or the other, but can't get rid of the spots 100%.

Also, I'm sure you already noticed, the spots will be more or less noticeable depending on light conditions.

EDIT: Also, I accepoted the idea that eventually I will have to make a version of this mod for every horse in the game. I've entertained the idea of going ahead and do that, but since people have started making extra requests (colors, manes, etc.) I'd rather do it on an as requested basis.

Well mate you are awesome, even if you didn't do everything you're awesome

so I will wait patiently for what you come up with I know it's gonna be cool!

also, not sure if I just didn't see it but if you have a version or know about the "all the pretty horses" mod the white in there for the horse is very nice in my head, don't know if that one still had the spots or not but if  it I didn't notice them at all, full horse was white h/ hair, ears everything so if you want you you can try to check that one if it can help you in any way

      good luck my friend

Unfortunatelly, that mod is hidden and I never downloaded it. If you have it and are willing to send me a link, I can check it out and see if there's something I can add to my horse's mods.

Can you please make one of Pegasus? I've been trying to figure out how to do it on my own but with no luck. I really don't know how to make any mods.

Also can you make the horse all white. So white mane as well. Please.

    Thanks.

Thanks a lot for doing this mod, don't know why there aren't any all black horses in the vanilla game, they are my favorite!
Would be nice a file variation without change the stats, I think its a little bit OP.

Yeah, the point is to make whomever's favourite horse the best in the game. You can tinker with the stats in the mod to make the horse more to your liking.

Bucephalus is probably the most famous horse in real history, of course, there's a lot of famous horses from fiction nowadays, but Bucephalus is the real deal, and he deserves to be used and to look good while he is.

Thanks a lot for the mod.

You're welcome. Not gonna lie, though, I'm not 100% happy with how it looks, not sure if it's my game or if it's just the way it is but black horses look more blue-ish than black in my game. I'm guessing some more tinkering with the colors could yield better results. There's a guide here on nexus on how to mod KCD, it's fairly easy to make mods like this, you don't need extensive programming stuff, just a basic knowledge of xml. This mod has the preset for black body already, you could tinker with the values of the parameter character_skin_color to see if you can get it to look blacker without making it look like a blobo of ink. Anyway, I'm glad you like it and hope you enjoy this mod.

I tried changing the "blue" to black, but it only works with the hair, not the skin. There's something i'm missing.

Is there a way to change the color of the space between the eyes? It looks light gray.

Re: The color of the space between the eyes.

Not that I know of. It's on every preset for horses in the game, so while you can change the color of the horse and it will affect that part too, it will always be noticeable.

To summarize something I said on another thread on one of my mods: the colors of the horses are determined by two variables, one being the character_body_id, which is a preset of sorts (body color, hair color, spot distribution) and the character_skin_color which determines the color. However, these two variables interact among them in some way, so putting a color in rgb decimal con character_skin_color will yield a different color depending on which preset (the value) is on character_body_id. You have to test and try different combinations until you find the color you want. I haven't tinkered enoguh to find a pattern.
