Yet another horse mod made by (sorta) request. Here's hoping I won't have to do this for each and every single horse in the game, but again, I offered to make this, so... anyway, here it goes
DESCRIPTION
This mod makes Bucephalus, the easter egg horse named after the mount of Alexander the Great, the best horse in the game, also changes its skin and mane color to an all black version.
Now, since the white spots on the face of the horse and on the legs are a preset of sort,s it's impossible to make those 100% unnoticeable. I did the best I could. Anyone else feel free to modify, change or adjust this mod in whichever way you think you it can be improved and upload it. No need to ask for permission although giving me credit (if warranted) would be nice. You can't monetize this mod in any capacity, though.
Bucephalus is now:
-Speed: As fast as Pegasus/Shadowfax/Shadowmere
-Capacity: As beefy as Trojan/Shadowmere
-Courage: As brave as Khantaka/Agro
-Stamina: As tiredless as Chollima
Where can I get this horse?
Buy it from Zora at the Neuhof stables.
INSTALLATION
Unpack the file and copy the folder Best_bucephalus_all_black in your mods folder in the game.
POSSIBLE ISSUES AND COMPATIBILITY
This mod is in PTF format and overrides just one row in the soul.xml file,
so you shouldn't have compatibility issues with any other mod, unless
you're using a mod that overhauls npcs and as such, overrides the entire
soul.xml file. If so, simply rename the Epona_is_the_best_horse to
somethin like zzzzZZZ_Best_bucephalus_all_black or so, to ensure this mod
loads last, or at least, after any overhauling mod or old format mod you
might be using.
I test all my mods before uploading (where do you think the screenshots come form?) so it works. If it's not working
for you, check whatever setup you have in your current mod folder for
incompatibilities. It's impossible for me to know which mods are you
running without you telling me. This should be a given, but still...
This mod will not work with Early Bird unless you load it after Early bird (see two paragraphs above).
