That fixed it for me, using +exec user.cfg on the Steam launch properties for the game, instead of -exec user.cfg so I'm very grateful. I also have the -devmode on as well for the actual Cheat mod. Many thanks to all concerned.
for the life of me, i can't get this to work. exec does nothing in my command console. luckily the F1-4 keybindings in default cheat mod work great. i tried this mod with the nokey version of cheat mod and with the default. neither let me exec any user.cfg, so none of the bindings in it work :(

bind f1 cheat_phys_hover
bind f2 cheat_phys_push
bind f3 cheat_add_buff_heal
bind f4 cheat_wash_dirt_and_blood
bind f5 zoom_in
bind f6 zoom_out
bind f7 cheat_set_time_speed ratio:15
bind f8 cheat_repair_all_items
Or any other cheat command.
Then run in console exec user.cfg, if it's not started from steam launch options.
does vortext also incorporate the launch options we set through steam?
Is there a way to bind the "open command" button to something else?
Thanks!
