Mod change icons for all prosthetics and all severed limbs in the game
Mod is very light to load and fast in the game i m so bad at descriptions, hope screenshot can tell you all you need to know
General informations:
You should load it near other character mods, but can be loaded 1st too
Game will no longer run check to generate lost limbs icons who was ugly anyway, and will just use mine instead :)
in Vanilla game check if object icon is autogenerated or not (most limbs and all the prosthetic are)
game check if icon was generated before, game load icon if it was generated or set the mesh, set the camera, set the texture and generate it
With my mod all this check is skipped so mechanically it makes the game process prosthetic limbs and severed limbs faster
I don''t wanted to add any indicator L/R because i wan't player to look at own arms/legs when in doubt and immerse themself more
Cool, how do i actually install it?
Mod use Regular installation:- Download the mod
- Open .Zip folder
- Take folder from inside the package
- Find yours Kenshi/mods folder
- Drop Folder with mod into Kenshi/mods

I need to address elephant in the room
Lofi games use same models and same or slightly miss-centered icons for: Theft arm and Lifter arm, KLR arm and steady arm, KLR legs and Skeleton legs.Because of it and lack of cut content models presented in the game files or previous versions of the game, i could not do better job than using appropriate icons of the limbs for the fix (new custom models and icons wouldn;t fix it, just change)
i care a lot about making good fixes and improvements and since i m not original Artist behind vanilla limbs i don't feel like i can make own models and add them to the "fix". Sorry for inconvenience.
Changes inside the mod:
i rendered and made all the assets based on Vanilla limbs in the game and made sure they are all in the icon space with proper facing
