About this mod
Renames %steam-mod-id%_%modname% folder to %modname%. Because Kinshi just cant find your mod if .mod file name doesn't match the folder's name.
- Permissions and credits
We've all been there. 2am, it's been 3 hours since you downloaded your favorite steam mod collection, you copy mod name from .mod file and rename it's folder accordingly, one by one, for hours and hours.
I say enough!
I want to slave on iron mine, not in the mod folder of my game.
For some reason Kenshi doesn't recognize a mod until the mod file named exactly as a folder it's in.
Basically it turns this
705119823_256_recruitment_limit
To this
256 Squad Limit
(This is the name of folder, I cant figure out how to upload screenshots in the description)
And it does it for all the hundreds of your mods instantly.
I asked my friend to write a little python script and when I saw what it could do, I just couldn't help myself to share it with people. I don't know if there is already a better alternative, but I did it all manually all the time.
To start it just paste the location of your Kenshi mod folder in console.
I guess since it's just an exe file I have to do this

It shows detected in some cases. I don't know why, this is just 10 line script.
