About this mod

This is a faction mod which adds 4 new locations, a major faction with 4 subfactions (each with a questline), 1 unique, 3 flavored and 3 generic recruits.

Permissions and credits
Desert Sands [BETA] adds a new faction (split into several subfactions), new dialogue, recruits, world states, and quests.

Most prominent are the Desert Tribes; a religous people whose ancestors settled on the Great Desert and spread from there. Walking into their lands one must know not to bring alcohol or to leave women unattended and to always carry the Truth; a collection of religous texts scribed by the First of the Tribe who the Imam's claim was given the knowledge by Okran Himself. The Morality Police enforce the rulings of the Truth among all the lands of the tribes. The tribes will also send trade carravans and raids towards the players and even sell hashish/hemp and some livestock uncommon among the Nomads.

The Tribe of the Great Desert is the tribe which inhabits the original holdings of the long passed First of the Tribe. They are lead by Tribal Leader Wahid who leads the jihad against the Imperial Cities of the Great Desert in order to rid the sands of "Narko's Influence." Many say though, he is a puppet for the Imams who preside in Al-Zarqwa.

Arnab Alghadib is the northenmost tribe settled in Sinkuun. They are lead by the Tribal Leader Ahmed who leads their jihad against the cannibals in the name of "spreading the Truth." Many however claim that he simply is filled with bloodlust and uses his devotion as an excuse to wage war against those he can.

The Tribe of Bone is the southernmost tribe settled in the Bonefields. Lead by Tribal Leader Jeems, they fight desperately to tame the Bonefields and secure trade for the Desert Tribes.

The Tribal Slavers are lead by the Slaveress Jamilah from the High Bonefields. They capture "infidels" and "heretics" to fuel the glorious jihad but some wonder just how many of these slaves come from outside tribal lands.

Compatibility:
This mod will require an import and should be compatible with any mod that doesn't have towns in the same locations (Great Desert in between Heft and Stoat, Northern Sinkuun, South of the Gorillo Bandits in Bonefields, and High Bonefields). It may also conflict with mods that change world states (just put which ever mod who's world states you care more about at the bottom).

Probable Bugs:

The icon for The Truth may unpack to the wrong location. In this case it will display as a clear box with an x through it. If it did find [The Truth.png] in the mod folder and move it to Kenshi\data\items\icons (NOT Kenshi\data\icons) to fix the issue.
