Hi mewthree1. Just a tiny question, do you have any plan on doing not 4K videos? Like 1920x1080? Or lower? I am asking this because some people can't download 6 gigabytes file with their internet and many don't have a 4K screen.
I can make them. I'm in the middle of making 120 fps for 120hz monitors, 180 fps for 144-165hz, and 240 fps for 240hz. And when i have cleaned mine up, i will re encode them into 1080p and 1440p, then people can choose :) As originals are 4k.
Ok. It would be cool, thank you blockbuster. Not everyone can download such heavy mod like 4K due to internet connection limit (like what I had before). And I also want to say something that changed since 2022. The cutscenes are now 60 fps in the base, if I remember correctly (maybe it's 45), since the anniversary update.
Let me know if there are specific scenes that have visual artifacts along with a time stamp! I just did the encoding in a rush instead of manual cropping scene transitions so there might be a few glitches.
Hoi, wanna ask, what CRF are you using? As i'm making my own versions of it where i'm also gonna clean up warpy jump scenes, but i feel like 5CRF might be too high :P I'm interpolating for 120, 180 and 240 fps.
With the latest update on Steam, the cutscene is now 4K60fps encoded in bink 2 format and tutorials in 1080p60 (they are small anyway). Also BK2 requires a license.
This cutscenes do not seem to work with Steam version of the game. the video files in the steam version is .bk2, not .mp4 (that this download provides). Can anyone help?

I just found out that they changed the cutscenes format in bk2 too in the anniversary update. I'll try what I sended to you, as far as I can understand how.
I think this is my last reply for now hopefully. I am trying to run the cinematics but not in 4K because I converted them so I'll keep the 60fps. But I think the anniversary update made the cinematics now at 60fps, not at 30 like before.
Edit: after testing with my converted files, they doesn't work. Maybe I did it wrong or what I shared to you don't work for Kena, I don't and can't know. But if you are here for the 60fps, the anniversary update did in fact set them in 60 fps natively. No more 30 fps. I don't know if they upgraded to 4K tho.
If you're gonna download this, you should keep a copy of it. The latest update brought back the low quality cutscenes and I have to download the good ones again...

But a pain in the ass downloading nearly 6GB of content with non-premium download option, still i appreciate your work.
Cutscenes are much smoother now and goes in line with the gameplay high FPS.
