Marine predators usually are camouflaged with a two-tone, a white bottom and a dark top, just like dolphins or sharks. So that from the bottom they look like the sky and from top like the deep ocean. This was confirmed by skin impressions in fossils from mosasaurs.
Marine predators also don't have exposed teeth, it keeps them protected from the elements.
Also marine life has smooth skin, and even fish although they are scaled, have a smooth surface. It reduces surface tension which in turn reduces energy needed for swimming and also increases speed.
The skin of the attenborosaurus is very well depicted in game. Kronosaurus, too.
I agree with all of what you said except for the smooth skin thing, most marine life has smooth skin, but there are plenty of exceptions: Crocodiles and alligators can live in water, they certainly don't. Blue whale isn't completely smooth I don't think. Sea horse. etc. the Mosasaurus specifically (I am not talking about all Mosasaurs, just Mosasaurus) likely looked very similar to the one in Jurassic World, just MUCH smaller
Crocodiles are semi-aquatic. Blue wale has smooth skin. If they hadn't smooth skin, they couldn't traverse vast distances without starving.
Smooth skin also increses the speed, so makes hunting more efficient. Every fast marine animal has smooth surface. Penguins and seals have fur, since they need it to survive the cold temperatures at land when they breed.
Mosasaur skin has been found in the fossil record. It was scaly, but smooth as a baby butt.

Couple of additions:
