Sauropods may not eat from the default/slot 1 'regular' forest. However if you use a version of the mod that adds 'edibles' to the default forest it helps buffer their needs overall so they don't complain, letting you use less of the ugly stuff. However, you still need to provide them with some other type to eat.

Literally nothing I can do about it, but the mod works great.

Does this still work in 1.8, or does it need to be updated?

I only just discovered this mod and would've really appreciated it in my 1.7.2 game, but ofc the devs have to force updates on us instead of letting us opt out or roll back to previous versions...

I've been waiting for a mod with something like this, now i dont have to use that weird paleobotany that doesnt fit in any biome, thanks.

EDIT: For now, sauropods dont eat from the biome trees.

Hi I replied to your message on the bug page but need more info because sauropods are eating from all trees for me. (Hence screenshots including them.) If you can tell me which ones (vanilla, modded, what mods you use) and if you have Kai Core/ACSE I could help figure out if it's a me-issue or not- in the bug tracking thread.

I actually did an experiment about this a while ago. it seems the only "wild" trees the sauropods will eat from are the tropical palms (not the desert ones). Is that what you've seen too?

No they have it on the tropical ones and every biome map apparently. In the past I've seen the issue you described with other mods like this ones/working in the same way. Mine also eat fine from desert palms though (the 'decorative' ones that previously had little use in 'shrubs')

I really like it, but could you add a file in wich all of the nutrition options are available because some species like brachiosaurus require tall nut and the plant doesn't fit in some biomes like tropical or alpine and breaks the stetic.

Sure I feel the same sometimes, I wish they did more work on making the paleo nut/fruit plants actually fit into the biomes they later made. I'll upload a version where the three 'sauropod food' plants provide all so there are three to pick from, and a version where any forest provides it to make the brush tool more sandboxy and designy, and a version where the forest offers some nuts/fruit but at 1/4 the amount so both are required but less of the one that is uglier.

      (Later today.)
