GREAT! I've been waiting for this mod. Barbaridactylus except it actually looks like a Nyctosaur and not Pteranodon again. Good job!

Yes, Pterosaurs have Pycnofibers *Not Feathers* but it's hard to add them without breaking the model or the game with the modding tools.

You could simply edit the textures to include some coat. It's not difficult at all, if you know how to do texture edit. There have been birds and animals with fur in games that are decades old. They had way less polygons and no fur/feather shaders. You just need a convincing approximation.

take a look at this open database: https://opengameart.org/content/cc0-3d-animals-creatures

It's not a question of how easy it is, it's a question of how time consuming it is.  I'm just doing this casually, and model edits like this are super quick to do.  Texture edits, on the other hand, takes hours if you want to make something that actually looks good, and I'm not that amazing of a texture artist anyways, my strength lies with modeling.  So no, I'm not going to take up my entire free time just to please people who are pickier about accuracy than I am.

Really the amount of people coming out and saying stuff like "this isn't accurate" or "just look at this other mod, other people have made mods adding feathers so why haven't you" is making me a lot less motivated to even share things here.  If you aren't happy with how I'm doing things, you're perfectly free to go ahead and make your own mods that include what you want.

Kotwuerstchen that requires matcol editing/baking the fur into the diffuse, which looks absolutely horrendous at times

Great job again with this mod. I would just like to ask about the hands on barbaridactylus as it is a nyctosaur, unless I'm very wrong about it which I may be

I appreciate the remodel! Is it accepted that these guys had skin in-between the crest?

As far as I know there's no definitive proof for or against the skin being present, so either reconstruction is within the realms of possibility.  I actually prefer the skinless look, makes it look more distinct visually, but considering the base model already has the skin and there's only so many polygons to work with I decided to stick with that.

I get that. It still looks just as good imo.
