Looking back at the initial appearance of the base game island maps, they all seemed very lacking since terrain painting (rock, sand, etc) and scenery props (placeable trees and rocks) weren't implemented until 1.8. With this in mind, I took it upon myself to not make parks in sandbox but, completely redesign all the base game maps to see how they would look if the current build's vanilla landscaping tools were available at launch.
To make the maps look as untamed and natural as possible, I opted to make all of these maps in the JP-era because it would allow players to start wherever they want like in Operation Genesis (and have access to all the decorative scenery).
The only catch is that you'll have to use either Kaiodenic's JP Overhaul or Ultimate Mixed Eras mods or xScruffyDaSasquatchx's Enhanced Mixed Eras mod for these maps to work properly. To be more specific, you'll need those mods for Sorna to work. Aside from there, all the maps should work with just vanilla JP-era.
While I'm proud of how well all the maps came out, I would have to say Sorna is probably the most noticeably improved when compared to the original version featured in Campaign. Like most people probably tried already, I added an area for the worker village and tried to take it a step further by adding incomplete monorail tracks around the map as a little nod to Trespasser. I also included 'wild' life to Sorna including Ankylosaurs, Mamenchisaurs, Triceratops, a tribe of male and female Lost World raptors, and "male" and "female" Stegosaurs (the 97s being female and the JW variants being male). I also included some Brachiosaurs with the 2001 designs (2 with the gray/red Operation Genesis style pattern ♥).
To get the maps to work, just copy them into your saved games folder:

I actually stream JWE a lot so check out my twitch if you'd like!
Hope you guys enjoy :)
