I read that you're working on a documentary, (Which looks amazing, can't wait till it's out) So i can understand why the mod would be put on the backburner. Just thought i'd ask.
It's currently in development by Duck and others. And narrated by Nigel Marven!
But it's called Forgotten Bloodlines Agate, according to Duck's announcement, the roughly 40 minute documentary is akin to that of the Walking with series about Oligocene North America, and the "Main Protagonists" are Daeodon and Moropus
1.-Where's part 2? I know digital duck is busy with other things but let's hope he returns reloaded to the mods 2.-Hopefully he makes feathered versions for the raptors of 1993, 97 and 2001
Lol. They aren't meant to be accurate because ...well 2 reasons I would guess :
1. The original book was fairly accurate for its time (and so was the original movie, except Dilophosaurus...oh Dilophosaurus). The Velociraptor in the books was actually based on a (now defunct) idea that Velociraptor and Deinonychus were the same dinosaur...although it was still too big, and I believe Crichton has just admitted he made them bigger to be scarier lol. So, saying the movies/books were not going for accuracy, is only in modern times. The reason they look like the original movies is because of nostalgia and any in-movie reasoning is only an excuse because they think nostalgia will sell (which...i guess is true. I may hate all these modern remakes, but apparantly mainstream audiences disagree with me).
2. An in-accurate idea of fans. I actually think BOTH Chinese and American fans wouldn't mind well made feathered dinos. I don't think it would lesson the appeal of the movies...like at all. But some old idiots in hollywood are stuck in the past, and don't realize what will sell. I often find Hollywood takes the wrong lessons from why their movies/franchises are popular. I think there was a demand for dinosaur movies and a lot of people are just taking what they can get, and making a better movie (and not a pile of garbage) with more accurate dinosaurs would only INCREASE their box office revenue not decrease it.
i know modders don't work on this website anymore but could you make seperate files cause i don't want to get rid of the raptor, compy, pteranodon and procerat but i want the struthio and deinonychus.
You can do that yourself by manually downloading. It's really not difficult. You just replace the models you want. I use the Strutiomimus, Velociraptor, and Deinonychus only.

Digital Duck (Max B.) on Twitter: "I'm very excited to announce a project that's been in the works for over a year now. "Forgotten Bloodlines: Agate" is an almost entirely CGI documentary film focusing on prehistoric creatures of the Miocene, narrated by the wonderful @Nigelmarven. Details in thread https://t.co/QWcYRKdogV" / Twitter

Though I worryingly suspect this isn't being worked on anymore (which I hope I'm wrong).
