The tweaks to the bulk make so much difference! it really is incredible.
One thing I noticed though is that the alternate skins end up looking washed out or monochrome, with even the Vivid spinosaurus turned yellow somehow. Is there a possibility of an update in the future that either affects the alternate skins, or an optional file which reverts to the original skin textures but keeps the improved model?
I mean like, can you send me the edited JPIII Spinosaurus Skin Texture as a PNG file? If it is fine with you. If it is fine with you, do you have Discord?
Thank you, I am glad you like it (I don't anymore). I respectfully decline, I only friend people I know, even though it's like the 'follow button'... but I like to keep it that way. Nothing personal
Ok, if you do make a JP3 T-Rex Skin Edit, can I have the skin as a PNG file to import into Garry's Mod also can I send pictures of what the skins should be for the JP3 T-Rex Skin edit?
Of all the Spino models, I think this is the best. Although the way the geometry changes with distance is very strange, specially around the legs, thigs and sail. They get thinner or bulkier as it switches. Other than that, it is really good.
The skins I tested look great. But would it be possible to release the skins without changes to the model as an option? And I noticed the edited model's torso is not as wide as the vanilla. The wide torso does help make the vanilla Spino look larger.
Absolutely incredible work mate. If you could make an alternate file that increases the size (specifically the head) even further I would be eternally grateful. Currently watching Jurassic Park 3 and even with this new and improved model the Spino just doesn't have the size and weight that it does in the movie.
These images are quite good for a reference to its size but I'll update this comment with more when I can get them: https://imgur.com/a/GHggBqy
Thanks so much for your work, can't wait for any updates.
Thanks! ^ ^ But for now we can't scale up/down the size, we only can modify the model and texture, for now. I could make the model bigger, yes, but it gets distortions.
Oh no! I wasn't aware What kind of distortions? Like during combat animations etc?
Even so I think I'd accept that hit for a generally bigger Spino, it's so diet compared to the monster from the movie. ?
I found this video on Youtube which I think is the direct CGI model they used for the film and you can seriously see when compared to the game's model- more specifically head on- how much bulkier and muscular the film model is (especially the head). https://youtu.be/LxYzCWZGLas
