I need a little help my game crashes when I release the acrocanthosaurus I've tried reinstalling the mod as well as reinstalling ACSE I've even tried to reinstall the game if anyone could provide insight that would be appreciated.
It looks like a straight upgrade from the default, my only wish is that it could close it's mouth. Still it's a must have! The head overal is such an improvement.
The skull looks quite good. But if you're gonna call this accurate it's gonna need much more muscle on it's back. Acrocanthosaurus does not have a sail, it has a muscly spine. The puppy face was a bit odd on the original. But the back was one thing it did right. The tail also looks kinda thin at the base.
I created this by overlaying an accurate skeletal diagram, and the tail base is definitely not too thin. As for the neural spines, I simply made them taller as the JWE spines are slightly too short. I was aware of the hump hypothesis when making the model. I did not give it a sail, I just made it taller making it appear slightly thinner. The hump would have still appeared thinner than the rest of the body, just not as thin as a proper sail. You can look for yourself in game that it doesn't have a spinosaurus-like sail, but more like the body tapering up to a thinner point, similar to bison except slightly less muscular.
He is glorious and you give him all his magesty!!Really thank you!! do you can make a prehistoric park rex mod? that can be really cool because his desing was paleo accurate!
Thanks! I do not plan on doing a PP rex mod. Even if I did, it wouldn't be accurate. Its design is actually much closer to an Albertosaurus than a Tyrannosaurus.
