So i posted a comment and it bassicly caused a month long discussion or something (not month long) and now since it dosent make any sense im gonna just post my critique on the mod here.
The Feeling of Re-Discovering something you had in the past was unrivaled here. Seeing a unique lambeosaur come back to nexus was amazing, and i still love it to this day! The sounds are perfect for it, and the 1 skin it DOES have is unrivaled in injenuity! This truly one of the best mods theyve made, even topping their Mapu!
With all this raise comes a few short comings, these being it cant fight each other which was shown in the video using a technique called deleting fences when the lambeosaurs square up to fight, lower quality than usual skin, and only 1 skin. Another nitpick is that if you use the sound mod its very echoie which works for the lambeo with its big crest, but not so much for the Maia since it has no crest. Wouldve made more sense to use edmonto since that one has a crest by default.
Also the new skins are pretty meh. Wetlands the only good looking skin, So i have some skin ideas for it (even though it has a 1% Chance of being added. It isnt finished though but i will add it later on
Also there are 2 types of lambeo, L. Lambei, the one the mod is aiming for, and L. Laticaudus, the must bigger bro to Lambei. Honestly although the rig choise is a minor nitpick its really a thing that can be glossed over and dosent make this dinosaur any less impressive anyways. I highly reccomend it as a starter dinosaur since you dont need to worry about much other than its sounds. Seismo works as well. Only thing bad about it is the skins, dropping its overall to a total of 7/10 C+

Making 2 hadrosaurs fight each other (unless iguanodon's rig is used) is impossible and we chose to include a """fighting""" scene in the showcase video for pure cinematic reasons ("it looks cool"). We overestimated the public's knowledge about modding and thats a mistake on our part.
The animal's texture is not lower quality than usual, all our dinosaurs have 1000px textures (except for seismosaurus). It may look low quality because of the animal's model, size, shape and roughness map. We dont usually make 2000px textures because 1. They rarely work (modding tools restrictions) 2. They make the dinos much heavier on the hardware, which can cause some troubles on weaker devices.
Lambeosaurus has only one skin because of a bug Maiasura (the dinosaur the mod is based on) has, as we said in the description of the mod. We werent able to fix this bug and the deadline had come, so we had to release the dino with just 1 skin; however we have recently discovered a fix for this bug and an update will come in the future.
The dinosaur's audio mod was OBVIOUSLY developed with Lambeo in mind and not the original dinosaur (like every other new species audio mod ever made). The fact you have to replace a dinosaur's audio to make the audio mod work and therefore said animal has sounds that dont suit it is a side effect we cant do anything about.
We used maiasaura's rig because it was the most accurate (size-wise) rig available and this mod is part of a "paleo collection", so it must be as accurate as possible.
I felt the need to explain these points to you to make you understamd why some things you didnt like are like they are.
I'd say the sound mod fits Maia better then Edmonto would, mainly because that so called "Crest" of Edmontosaurus annectens is just a flesh comb like a chicken. I don't see chickens making sounds with their flesh combs huh? Plus anything is better than Maia's vanilla calls.
The fighting in the video I made was just a fence bash, you could clearly see the sparks, It's even explained in a pinned comment.
Also how dare you lump Lambeosaurus and Magnapaulia together! Shame on you :/

@MechaYT you are 3 things. 1st part is logical, 2nd im sorry for lumping them together i googled lambeosaurus and google isnt the best sometimes (WHY IS THERE A SPRUCE WHEN I LOOKED UP PINE!!!) and 3rd sorry thats its annoying to you and i didint see the pinned review until now since i havent had the need to check this ._.
Love your guys work! Especially the seismosaurus. Like how it captures that more paleo artist look. Would be awesome if you guys could do a new allosaurus or t rex with neck folds, crests and maybe even feathers to go along with them. I'm sure whatever you guys do next will be lovely regardless.
Are you guys planning on moving to JWE 2 or PK when they allow modding for those new games?
Like the TinyGamer Profile and Species Collection images, old ones (seismo,alberto, and concavo still good) havent downloaded it so i cant critique it yet but soon i will. Nice to see this guy return after the old one was removed.
Well i have an idea. Maybe take some of the armored herbivore coding and use it to have them fight each other in dominance duels. In order for them to fight you would have to use their Fence Attack Animation but i think it be worth the trouble. Also Idk how to mod so dont expect me to know alot about this.
Alright, i give you arguments, why no Tyrannotitan. 1. We already made 2 Carcharodontosaurus, a 3rd would be completely unneccessary. 2. Tyrannotitan is basically Giga, its like almost the same dinosaur. 3.We don't really take Suggestions out of posts. And if I'm wrong sorry Levi and Ario xd
