Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added Breeding Seasons. Dinosaurs will now only breed during specific seasons, but their chance to breed has been increased depending on how rare their seasons are (to make sure you still get them quite frequently).
Added Skin Mutations. Extremely rare - hatchlings have a 1 in 6 chance of mutating, and mutations have a 1 in 24 chance of changing the skin.
Added an age of sexual maturity: Depending on weight and diet, dinosaurs have different minimum ages before they can breed. More on this in the Description.
By default, hatchling cannot breed - i.e., dinosaurs cannot breed in the same season as when they were born. This does not apply to dinosaurs released from hatcheries.
Breeding Limit Inhibitor Gene: Removes all social/population limits when breeding.
Mutation Countermeasures Genes 1, 2, and X: Lowers chance of mutation when breeding by 50%, 75% and 100%
Mutation Stimulation Genes 1 and 2: Increases chances of mutation by 25% and 50%.
Rapid Maturation 1 and 2: Lowers the breeding age by 50% and 75%.
Rapid Maturation X: Lowers the minimum breeding age to 1.
Most dinosaurs will only one offpsring per season at most, so herds can at most double in size (with the exception of Armoured Herbivores, Giant Herbivores, and Medium Carnivores - they breed rarely, so they can have two offspring per season at most).
The mod has been generally rebalanced to lower the amount of dinosaurs breeding. Instead of being balanced to see 2 dinosaurs breed a lot, it is now balanced to see mid-to-large herds breed quite frequently (this is MUCH better for building actual parks).
Dinosaurs will now breed more evenly across species - keep in mind this is still random, so results between runs WILL vary.
Dead dinosaurs will no longer breed.
Low-social dinosaur breeding rates have been greatly boosted.
Version 1.0.2
Fixed a breeding rate issue with low-social dinosaurs. They should now breed properly!
