About this mod

Adds in a chunky stegosaur to your park as a new, seperate species. ACSE 1.1 required.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Originally this mod started out as a test just to see how difficult it was to add in new stegosaurs, eventually snowballing into this.

Hesperosaurus are quite sociable and enjoy sharing their enclosures with other herbivores, unlike their anti-social Stegosaurus cousins. Their habitat requirements fit right alongside most other herbivores so large communal exhibits are of no detriment to them. They require a little bit of forest cover though they mainly prefer a wide open area of grassland.

You will need ACSE 1.1 to use this dinosaur in campaign or challenge mode. You'll unlock Hesperosaurus in campaign on Muerta by going down
the entertainment division path and in challenge mode you will need three stars in order to research and unlock it. You can find the research under modding slots Zeta in the medical treatment tab.

Installation
To install simply drag and drop the Hesperosauru folder into your ovldata folder. To uninstall, delete said folder. If you intend to uninstall this mod mid-save, make sure there are no Hesperosaurus' in any of your hatcheries, otherwise the game will crash on load.

Known Issues
  • There appears to be some kind of wierdness going on in the back leg area when it walks but I've come to notice this is actually just an issue with Chunkingosaurus as well. I've tried to fix it the best I can on my end but I haven't been staring at it's ass for that long so I can't say I've 100% fixed it.
  • There's a few areas where the matcols (the scale or texture overlays that go onto the model) get a bit skewed, I'll be fixing these hopefully in the upcoming days. I even fixed a few after I took screenshots but I'm too lazy to retake them atm lol
  • Standard Brachiosaurus icon consistent for most new species.
