Ok so like, i dropped the file into ovl data, i open up the game just fine and dandy, i scroll all the way down to the locked dino section at a hammond creation lab and the Alio is there but how does one unlock it? i didnt get any sort of new research or dig site so im just a tiny bit puzzled is all if you could point me in the right direction.  I love the model by the way, especially with the steppe pattern!

You're making so many new species, it's awesome.

Just a suggestion, why don't you or Keine make a file where if we research it. All your new species are available? Kinda like how Keine did their new cosmetics research mod, only it can be something like Net-Keine Genetics (basically, a combination of your new species and Keine's new cosmetics. It'd be much better for the research UI so it's not all jumbled together)

Hi, I really wanna use this mod since I damn love Alioramus, but everytime I insert it into ovldata and launch the game in a savegame, it crashes. I've used different mods and they crash aswell, aside from the spinosaurids mod which for some reason only crashes in challenge/campaign. Every mod I add after 4 dinosaur mods seems to crash, aside from Excavaraptor. Do you know a fix to this so I can finally see Alioramus?

As soon as you tell me how to do it without the arms getting messed up I will! Now go and sit in that corner smart-ass!

you do know this is a Jurassic park game right so anything in jp and the rest of the franchise isn't "scientifically accurate"
your not jack horner are you?

I'd actually disagree with correcting the wrists.  It's a Jurassic Park game, so it makes more sense to me to have dinosaurs that look consistent with the Jurassic Park or general 90s dinosaur aesthetic.

I personally would prefer a 2 claw Alioramus, but yeah, its a Jurassic Park game. If it wouldnt be a problem to remove a finger, without a grill skewer, then it would have 2 claws. Editing arms and wrists is without Rig edit bad.

Supinating the wrists is pretty tricky in JWE.. I'm not gonna use JW canon as justification because If a modder wanted to and had the ability, being JW hasn't stopped anybody from turning this game into PK with super accurate dinosaurs lol.

But for a new modder, it's understandable.
It's up to the modders and their ability if they want to go through that level of detail. For me, pronated wrists were by far the least glaring issue with Jurassic Park / World Dinosaur designs cough cough Hybrids.

I honestly really love the model and the textures you've given it! One small critique is that you should try (I stress try as I do not understand the modeling process and all of it's complexity) to add the bumpy ridge on it's snout. I know it may not be entirely accurate, but most reconstructions have them and it's a hallmark of the species. If you can't make them really prominent, there is absolutely no issue, just a minor subjective change! Keep up the amazing work my dude!

Hey glad you like it. I tried to make them, as you can see on the 3rd picture I managed to make a few, but there is simply not enough vertices to make more. I tried, I did my best and the result is before you. I aim to make the best I can.

Yay, finally an Alioramus! Looks pretty good as usual, but it seems a bit "nosey", like the very front part of the upper jaw was just stretched out for some reason. I'd line it up more with the lower jaw and reduce the length of the nasal openings. Other than that I'd maybe bulk the body up a bit.
Oh also I was wondering why you always color the eyeballs black, doesn't look bad per se, but a bit unnatural imo.

I might do edits to the model, I made it like this because the multiple references I used. And as for the eyes, I make them black as because my bearded dragon had eyes like that, it's my way of "paying respect" in a way I guess. And many reptiles and fish have black eyes which I use for reference when I do the texturing.

I see, that's interesting. I'd personally use bird eyes as a reference, both because of their connection to dinosaurs and because of my fondness for birds, especially parrots. They could actually give a somewhat similar look since lots of parrots have beady-eyes with big pupils, or at least generally dark eyes that give them this look.

Well, birds eyes would be best reference for dinosaur eyes. But they do have black eyes aswell.

The bodyshape doesn't really fit a tyrannosaur. The head is nice tho.
