It doesn't show up for me. Can someone help? I put the postosuc folder straight into ovldata. I don't have ACSE 1.1, but I only play on sandbox and it still doesn't show up there.
I really like the skins and everything but I really can't take the hoping seriously lol, I know Postosuchus Is recently believed to have been bipedal but I think you should make the model Quad, for now 4.5/10
I too can't stand the kangaroo-hopping and think using a bipedal animal as a base would have been better, but I think majungasaurus is too big, Proceratosaurus or Dracorex would be more appropriate.
Actually using the light steel fence plus better fences mod (which I always have on me) which is pretty close in height to a person, I compared the height to the in-game majunga and it's roughly the same size, if not a bit big. And if that doesn't work we could also use the herrerasaurus, seeing as it does have some similarities with postosuchus, minus the bulk.
i was actually thinking the other day these guys would be awesome with the indoraptor rig. Obviously this would be an insane amount of work, but I think if you made this use the indoraptor rig (which could probably work with the proportions you've given it), it would go from being a great mod to one of the best by far. Still awesome work nevertheless.
well It's kinda a pick your poison. you either have a postosuchus that moves slow but hops around like it's a rabbit or you have an overly agile postosuchus with a run cycle that makes sence
I think it definitely works better than a quadrupedal rig. Though, majunga may be best. I was mostly thinking of the more agile Saurosuchus in Dinosaur Revolution, or the one from Dinosaur Alive, which I think would work best with indoraptor given both are depicted as more agile in those pieces of media
Yeah. Postosuchus was a chunky croc-dino boi. Or just an early archosaur to put it in layman's terms. It's like dressing up a horned chameleon as a triceratops for a blockbuster movie just because it's a reptile with three horns.
That's so nice ^^ i really like the model and the touch of details on the head, question are you gonna update the model with some osteoderms at a later date? (It's the only thing missing, and the osteoderms are more like plates on the very top of the back ) Althought i'm getting this mod either way it's just too good

Imo indoraptor isn't a good base, sure it can go quadrupedal and bipedal, but its way too agile for something like a postosuchus.
