It's simple you will see, for all the mods and new species, it's always or often. Drag and drop the WWDOrnithole folder (after unzipped it) into your ovldata folder ! The path should be ? steam/steamapps/common/jurassic world evolution/Win64/ovldata
Dude wtf.... First you create such an amazing creature from my favorite show! Then after hearing critique on small details and you completly re-do the model to make it even better!!!! You are an absolute legend! The dinosaur looks so god damn good right now! Its amazing! Thank you so much!!!
(Any chance we can expect more new walking with dinosaurs creatures? Like the polar allosaurus and utahraptor? Or maybe even Big Al as a new species so it does not replace our current allo?)
Wow ! Thank you for your feedback :D I'm glad you like it ! :) I mean, all the critique was true and constructive ! I cannot stay with a model with some mistakes that I can improve right ? :p
Regarding others dinosaurs from Walking With Dinosaurs, for now I had in mind the Coelophysis and the Postosuchus, but also the Koolasuchus, the Othniellia and the Leaellynasaura ! :) But for now, this is only ideas and not project ! :) I add Big Al to my folder, I would love to see that too ! :p
Yes now he looks more aggressive i love it! But can author and other confirmed if they have same bug. I wonder if only i have this bug and if its from dinosaur or in ACSE dino number? No patterns inside boxes for all of the dinos and there is missing sound of repainting them. This happend even when i delate all other new species and test it with Ornitholestes + ACSE. The same bug is with Tarbosaurus + ACSE. I try many times reinstalling everything but without positive effect :/ Dont understand what is wrong can somone help? I play last time only in sandbox. Screenshot below:
For your issue, some of the dino use different variants from his model, I think that might cause issue with the pattern pictures. (For the sound missing idk :/ ) So far as I know, ACSE isn't the issue but probably the new way of doing new species. But if it's only this one problem, I think we can live with that and, mostly with a lot of new species haha
Woud you make little change? It will make him better and agressive look IMO. horn coud be lower and longer as on photo. On model horn is to much higher and to short. OFC its my opinion if You dont have time or dont want it to change there is no problem that's my suggestion. Let's just don't discuss how he really looks like but small change would do it better. Regards
That's a good observation, the nasal crest could indeed be a little shorter, and wider instead. I have one more suggestion, Tony: I just realized that the eyes have a bit of a "tilt" to the backside. That makes the Ornitholestes look slightly sad all the time. Perhaps you could reverse the tilt to the front (like a cat's eye), or adjust the eyes to be even with the natural position of its head (I hope I'm making sense lol). But anyways, that's all nit-picking. Already an amazing mod :)
Thank you for your feeback ! :) I updated the nasal crest/horn ! :) It is now more accurate with the WWD version and I find it better, like you said ! :)
For the eyes, is it possible for you to show me on a screenshot ? :) I think I understand what you means but I'm not entirely sure ! Also I'm still struggling with the eyes in general in blender, everytime I move to much the eyes, there is some weiiiiiiiird s*** happening in-game xD Like with the Ornitolestes, the eyelid was so big for some reasons ...
Ok, I will try to explain it with some pictures - I hope it makes sense x)
Theropod eyes are often depicted to have a slight forward tilt (with the upper orbital bone pointing down-, and the lower orbital bone upwards), especially since these animals presumably also tended to hold their heads at a slight forward tilt (like many modern birds):
Whereas, in the mod, it sometimes looks like the Ornitholestes' eyes are tilted in the opposite direction:
That being said, I totally understand that this must be difficult to do. I myself have zero modding experience whatsoever, so I have no real idea how/if this could be improved. Additionally, the Troodon (which I assume you used as a base?) tends to hold its head at a weird angle, which might cause the eyes to only start looking displaced when the model is moving around in game.
As I said, it's not a huge problem by any means - just a small observation. Please don't feel like you need to "fix" this immediately or anything, it's pretty subjective :)
Oh yeah ! This make totally sense and I understand what you mean ! You right, I didn't saw that at first but now I only see that :p I'll probably rework the eyes and I also want to make the lower jaw a bit wider as the WWD version !
Thank you for your time and your feedback ! It help me a lot to improve my mods ! :D
Glad I could help - I also didn't see the tilted eyes at the start, and then couldn't unsee them anymore x) Just wanted let you know, I have great respect for how you are always working to improve even your older mods, it makes for some of the best quality we have on this site. But Tony, please also don't overwork yourself. People will always have suggestions for improvement, which is why you need to take care of yourself and not feel stressed or obligated to anyone. You having fun while modding is the most important thing, everything else is secondary. You seem like an absolute workaholic, which is why I felt like I had to tell you this ^^ Whatever you are doing next, and whenever it happens, we all know that your work will be amazing. Take care!
Thank you to tell me that ! :) You're right ! Im kinda an workaholic stubborn perfectionist ^^ But having the power to add new species and work the model like that, it's like a dream coming true ! Back in the day, in Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, it was kinda frustrating because but now, this is so exciting to see all we can do and the thing that people can do ! I'm having so much fun, yes, that one way to say that :p
Btw, last update today ! I reworked the eyes with you're advises and like I wanted, I reworked the jaw too ! I'm satisfied with this version and I think this is the last model update ! :D
Great update! It doesnt look as freaky as it used to in the first release. :) This might be a stupid question that has been answered already but, is it supposed to be named as "ornitholesteswwd" ingame too?
Thank you ! :) This is not stupid ! Actually yes, it is supposed to be named that way, otherwise, you couldn't get both of the ornitholestes mods ! And, afterall, this model isn't accurate and is based on Walking With Dinosaur so I guess it's ok :p
Is there any easy way to fix this client wise or would it be possible to get a version for us who dont run the other ornitholestes mod? I dont want to sound greedy but I would definitely want to use this over the other, but the "wwd" does kinda nag me a bit. Maybe I just need to get used to it. :D
The eyes are a little crazy but otherwise it looks awesome! Definitely going to download after a few more small tweaks I've seen you mention in the comments already :)
I reworked the eyes and the jaw, it would probably be my last update on the model since I'm kinda satisfied with this version :D The eyes are indeed a little crazy sometimes but compared from where I started... Oh dear, I saw some weeiiiird stuff xD
what I would say is that the jaw is straighter and less curved down the body has come out very well if this is misspelled I'm Spanish and I'm using the translator how this
I really love this mod, I used to watch WWD when I was little. It's so nice to see it in the park. I do have a quick question wondering if you were going to look at a glitch where the Ornitholestes WWD removes the deinosuchus added species from the game?
Hey ! Thank you ! I was a big fan of WWD when I was young too ! :) I'm glad that you like the mod ! However, I wonder what kind of bug/glitch this is... I don't really understand how it is possible !
Yeah, I figured it out it's not your mod that made the deinosuchus disappear it was the Pterygotus added species. I just only saw the deinosuchus was missing from my park after I installed your mod. lol sorry about that. :)

BTW:
How do I remove the WWD at the end of the name?
Drag and drop the WWDOrnithole folder (after unzipped it) into your ovldata folder !
The path should be ? steam/steamapps/common/jurassic world evolution/Win64/ovldata
And no need for the f word ^^
