ME&PAL Mod: Meet Everywhere & Play All Levels (for Steam only)
Mod description/video contains major spoilers, and new players are strongly discouraged from using the mod in their first game anyway - play it normally at least once, if not many times; it's a magical experience just the way it is.
(Antivirus/security software issues: Since the standalone .EXE program has Cheat Engine built in, it may be falsely detected as malware like Cheat Engine often is, so you may need to create security exceptions to extract/use it. Or, there is an option to download only the "safer" .CETRAINER file, which must be used with Cheat Engine - easy setup info in readme.)

Meet Everywhere
Unlike in the normal game, you can meet new companions in these special places and play through them together almost exactly like normal (as long as both players are actively modding)
To meet in these places, both players need to be using the mod and have a special meeting function active. If you connect to someone in the "normal" levels who isn't using the mod's functions, your mod will have no effect on their game.
Play All Levels
You are able to go to all levels built into the game and play in them, even going directly from Chapter Select. This includes Paradise, which doesn't normally have a Chapter Select portal, plus these special levels which you can never play at all without modding/hacking:
It's recommended that even not-new players avoid visiting the credits levels until being quite familiar with the normal game (including going to at least a few out-of-bounds areas), so that you are really able to appreciate them, and you won't ruin the surprises and wonders of exploring the OOB areas in the normal game.
Basic Mod Setup
To use the mod, unzip the files and put them anywhere. The mod does not permanently change any files. Instead, you either:

- The first level, "Chapter Select" (CS) - either when you begin it by starting a new game, or when you go there by selecting "Chapter Select" from the pause menu
- The last level, "Paradise"
- All of the credits levels (which are hard to play in without this mod, anyway)
- Most (probably all) sections of other levels where you also don't normally meet companions, like War Machine patrol areas

- 3rd part of the credits, with replicas of levels 1-2 at night: Chapter Select and Broken Bridge.
- A prototype version of Pink Desert often called "level 09", rather similar to the final version but with some very interesting differences
