    is there any way to raise headshot head explosion chances  for higher calibers like .50 cal and 7.62 nato. the showcase of the head explosion just feel so inconsistent especially higher calibers. An uzi and barret should not have the same chance to deal out such gore or feel so since I am not really sure on the actual percentages for head explosions.

    Saw on Steam Workshop you fixed "shooting stance wont display reserved AP for AI, to prevent revealing their positions", looking forward to the update here and for Compatibility Patch when you have time :). Mod sounds great.

    This mod looks really promising, along with Revised Tactical Gear, GC Militia etc. Probably do another JA3 run again soon, already beat the game twice - vanilla and with my MilitiaPlus mod. Just can't get enough of this game, love it so much.

    Used this mod almost since I started playing JA3. Great work.

    There's just one thing, that doesn't seem logical: Underslung grenade launchers. I need less AP to shoot a grenade, then to go into shooting stance. And after doing so, I'm in shooting stance. So I think AP cost should be a lot higher.
    Also range and accuracy should be reduced, I think. Give Ivan a grenade launcher and he can slaughter dozens of enemies if they're bunched up and come out with 32 AP afterwards, because of his perk.

    Just something to consider. ;)

      hey, thanks for the feedback

      tbh i have not touched heavy weapons/GL much. But seeing as the GL is granting the stance bonus, I could try to make it use the same formula that I use for shooting to calculate its AP.

      Will also increase their mishap change in the explosives overhaul.

    This is some kind of cruel nonsense.Changes in shooting accuracy simply go beyond any reasonable limits. Also adding a reduction in accuracy in any variant - be it weapon modifications, weapon type, or simply the position of the character.
    If in the original game a character with an accuracy of 91 and with M24 could hit the torso from a distance of 10-15 cells with a 100% chance, then with this mod you will have from 17% to 59% depending on a bunch of factors. I don’t know about other types of weapons, but sniper rifles with this mod are absolutely unplayable. 25% reduction in hit chance due to installed bipod! What nonsense is this...

      hey, the -25% reduction is supposed to be because the M82 shouldnt really be fired from a standing position, i just coupled it with the bipod component. It wont apply to other weapons

      About the other stuff you mention, it seems to be working just as intended!
      If you shoot a sniper from the hip it shouldnt be accurate. If you use a scope at close range it also shouldnt be accurate. 
      If you want to auto hit at every distance by pressing mouse2 3 times, this is not the right kind of mod;
      Snipers are probably still too good tbh

      That's exactly why I wrote my post.
      It seems to me that in the vast majority of cases, the developers know much better HOW their combat mechanics should work. It’s one thing to add your own weapons and various things, make a mechanics add-on exactly for them, and quite another thing when you completely change all the BASIC mechanics for the worse (IMHO), and call it overhaul.
      Why do I think the mechanics changes are bad?
      Because even in the original game, what happens in battle is casual and unrealistic, and this overhaul multiplies this unrealism several times. With this mod you just stand in front of an enemy a few squares away from you, and both of you can't hit each other. It is necessary to press some actions - lie down, take out the bipod, take a shooting position... WHY is all this necessary, why complicate the mechanics that work adequately? There are already enough moments in the game where you just need to press menus a bunch of times, just because. And here you must do this more and again in battle.

      my dear brother, if you want vanilla mechanics, why use an overhaul mod?
      This is made to complicate mechanics, make it more granular, make weapons more different. Honestly the way you describe this 
      some actions - lie down, take out the bipod, take a shooting position...

      make it seem more of a compliment to me, but I understand if you dont want this kind of gameplay, What I dont understand is why then you are modding the game with this type of mod

      TLDR: if you dont want to take your time preparing your shot, use a pistol or a smg

      PS: also you can modify all the the penalties on the mod options to suit your taste. But I don think you will find what you want in this mod anyway. It just is geared to a diferent need I guess


      Have fun with vanilla mechanics, just remember to keep CTH hidden :P

    Is it possible that your bleeding effect print stacks in the game log by print(effect.stacks)?
    I occasionally spot some mysterious "1" printed there under each other.
