About this mod

The main goal of this mod is bring JA3 perks closer to what we used to have in JA2 and JA2 1.13. It replaces several of the vanilla perks and add new ones. Also brings some new QoL options.

Vanilla Perks Remastered: 

Changes some of the vanilla perks.

- Ambidextrous: Replaced by "Gunslinger", keeps the same bonus for firing with two firearms and adds the following, Increased Range (flat bonus) for handguns, increases damage (scales with level), increases CTH (scales), reduces ap for shooting by 1
- HawksEye(Scope): Increases the range for all rifles, scaled/level
- BunsPerk(Buns): same as above but only after level 6
- KalynaPerk(Kalyna): same as above but after level 3, Kalyna is a expensive merc for no special reason and struggles after a few levels as her stats are too low to open new traits and her wisdom abysmal for be trained quickly.
- SteroidPunch(Steroid) - no longer require unarmed
- ExplodingPalm(DrQ) - same as above
- SteadyBreathing(Fast Runner) - extends its benefits to medium armor
- InnerInfo(Livewire) - Replaced by "Hack the System!" bonus CTH for hacking. I like playing with her but her perk makes the game too easy no matter the difficult.
- JackOfAllTrades(Wolf) - adds 2% damage resistance/level
- AutoWeapons: - no longer works for pistols or machineguns, keeps the bonus for autofire and adds the following, Increased range for SMG(flat), Increased range for AR(scaled), reduce 1 ap for attacks on the same target with ARs(single shot only), New combat action for "AutoWeapons": BARRAGE, (SMGs only)
- Berserker(Rage) - replaced by "Endurance", grants damage resistance/stacks instead of damage. Note that some enemies also have this trait so it can affect the gameplay
- LightStep(Mouse) - adds the following: auto-hide after killing an unit at level 4, auto-hide at the end of its turn at level 6, auto-hide after taking damage at level 8. She will remain hidden if not in standing position, other cases she will be revealed (she isn't Shadow)
- HeavyWeaponsTraining(Heavy Weapons) - adds the following: reduces the penalty for autofire with MGs, grants half of free move if using cumbersome equipment,
- New Perk(Sharpshooter): Increased CTH for aimed attacks, increased range for Snipers and Rifles, Reduced Ap for shooting in crouch or prone positions
This trait is optional and have been added to Buns, Kalyna, Scope, Shadow and Reaper but can be disable at any time in the options.
- Lightning Reactions("LightningReaction") - reworked, no longer goes prone, CHANCE to proc once per turn (25% at level 10), does not affect NPCs(Santiago and Major have this trait tho), it scales with level and agility
- Lightnings Reactions("LightningReactionNPC") - still works the same way now there are more conditions to proc (ex. can't be surprised) 
- HitTheDeck("Hit the deck"): added reduces the penalty from moving in prone or crouch positions

New Roles:

These roles are based on the vanilla game, I assigned the roles to the respectively mercs accordingly with the base vanilla game, although I disagree in some points. These are not 100% implemented yet. They are enable with the option for additional perks as well and can be turned off anytime
- Leader: bonus morale for allies around him
- All Rounder: damage resistance per level
- Doctor: additional damage against light armored targets, flat bonus max +5
- Mechanic: additional damage against heavy armored targets, flat bonus max + 10
- Explosive Expert:(not implemented): additional effects when using grenades, flares, etc
- Marksman: bonus damage and CTH


+ New Option "JA2 Traits": Gives back some traits that old mercs used to have in previous editions
+ New Option "Enemy Roles": it adds the roles to enemies, it can make the game harder. It uses the same logic to assign the roles to mercs
+ New Option "No More MIA": It returns the Available status to AIM mercs (it only affect MIA mercs) 
+ New Option "Enhanced SquadBag": Add a few more items available to the squad bag
+ New Option: "10+ Level Icons": Replaces the level icons from levels 1 to 10 and adds new icons from levels 11 to 46 (This option was developed in partnership with Dmitry "Zaba", much appreciate your geniosity and patience)


Future changes for vanilla traits:
- CQC Training: probably will replace with something related to fast reload and less AP necessary to get items from inventory
- Stealthy: keep the bonus and add a modifier to other mercs to act like a spotter

Kompositum Enhanced:  (moved to a separated mod page)

- Increases all Damage reduction stats of the armor (including its category)
Super-heavy penetration still crits on all types of armor.
- It only affects armor crafted with Kompositum
- Add new recipes to craft quest reward related items
- For all recipes please check the FAQ section.

Vanilla weapons Expanded: (moved to a separated mod page)
- Expands over the vanilla weapons components adding missing slots that apparently were design to be there but removed with the game released(for example AA12 and M24 have 3 side slots, several other weapons have 2 available)
- It doesn't change the data itself, damage, ap costs, range, etc
- All the visual components works but some need an specific order to work properly (I lack the skill to make it work 100%)

Wilderness encounters: (moved to a separated mod page)

- Addon to Sig's "The legion comes for you" but not really an dependent mod.
- It adds a chance to spawn a random squad in the sector when any squad on the map to attack the player, for more details go to Sig's page
- This mod add a chance to spawn instantly in the sector and adds a new dynamic squad that changes depending on events in the game

Diamond briefcase Enhanced: (moved to a separated mod page)

- Add a new briefcase squad that changes depending on events in the game, also a new briefcase that carries Kompositum58

More Enemy Squads:

- Adds several additional squads to several locations in the game, it may make the game harder depending on other mods you are using, also it may lead to some battles not start because of the number of enemies present (150+).
