Changelogs
  • New bleeding effect for ALL ammo types, except 12 gauge saltshot (compatible with custom calibers, added by other mods!)
  • New bleeding damage and AP reduction with scalable severity based on caliber (damage values are configurable via in-game mod options)
  • Bleeding applies only if armor was penetrated
  • Grazing hits bleeding is halved
  • Penetration debuff reduced for HP and Shock ammo types
  • Increased damage for HP ammo type

Ammo stacks feature has been removed. Use QoL Enhancements" mod instead https://www.nexusmods.com/jaggedalliance3/mods/55
Feel free to enable/disable this mod mid-game if you are not in the battle

Mod is now compatible with custom ammo and custom weapons mods!
Mod doesn't affect wounds mechanics.
Mod doesn't affect ordnance and melee weapons. So if some unit got both bullet and melee damage, then it will have 2 different bleeding types. Both effects can be healed with first and big aid kits. I'll try to change bleeding effect caused by melee and ordnance attacks in the future.

I recommend using this mod with any Armor Overhaul, that provides better protection and any Merc overhaul mod that adds proper armor for them.

How to install:
1. Extract "Bleeding Mod" folder to %AppData%/Roaming/Jagged Alliance 3/mods
2. Enable mod in in-game mod manager
3. Enjoy!

Compatible with 1.1-1.3 game versions I'm not sure about 1.0 but you can try.

Known issues:
HP ammo inflicts both vanilla bleeding and modded bleeding effects. Will be fixed in the next update.

To-Do in the future releases:
1) Rewrite mod without redefining ItemInventory Classes done
2) Add in-game options done
3) Make friendly fire bleeding optional done
4) Do not apply bleeding if armor was not penetrated done
5) Rewrite mod to add bleeding effect on hit without changing ammo AppliedEffect param for custom calibers compatibility done
6) Change melee and ordnance ammo vanilla bleeding effects
