WARNING: If you use this mod and attempt to romance both Dawn Star and Silk Fox (and Sky, if you're doing that), the game will soft lock in Chapter 7 at a critical juncture. The mod doesn't allow for the double romance for continuity reasons (if you're playing as a woman), and that causes a fatal glitch in dialogue towards the end of the game which prevents you from continuing.

I can't tell if I messed up somewhere or not (I never strongly got the feeling that I did), but despite attempting to romance both Dawn Star and Silk Fox (as a female protag), I ended up on a pure Dawn Star route. It WAS nice to see the full kiss cutscene but I definitely feel a bit let down.
I don't know the exact requirements (the game doesn't exactly make it transparent) so I don't know if this is my fault or if the mod simply doesn't allow for it. I would definitely appreciate confirmation one way or the other (since if I just messed up I'll be a female my next run too, otherwise it looks like I'll be doing a male protag from now on).
I think that scenario was purposefully left out of this mod because Silk Fox refers to the Spirit Monk as a man in the romance scene with Dawn Star. The author's intention was to present a seamless over a completionist experience.
Same thing happened to me! And others said they fell into a pure Silk Fox route- something's fishy with this mod.
For anyone reading this later down the road, what I did to seemingly fall onto a Dawn-Star-Only route: I kept the romance alive, dialogue-wise, with Sky, Dawn Star, and Silk Fox, in that order, before the Lotus Assassin fortress. The pre-fortress confession never happened for any of them, not even Sky (it's not supposed to happen with DS and SF, as they reference protagonist being male there). Then, suddenly, at the throne room, I could only confess my love for Dawn Star, and Silk Fox acted annoyed as if I'd rejected her before.
Maybe the game couldn't handle three potential romances at once, and automatically discarded the third. I don't know. It seems the nature of this mod is lost to most of us. Or maybe, because the option to choose DS, SF, or both at the Lotus Assassin fortress never happened, the game defaulted to the first of the two ladies that I courted. I'll have to try another run-through to confirm this.
If anybody has any similar scenarios that happened to them, add to the discussion! Hopefully we can figure this out.
PS: If this game used personal quests to codify the relationships we have with our party members, like KOTOR did, I wonder if a lot of this confusion could have been avoided in the first place.
I know this is really old, but the game just became free on Origin and I got it. I gotta ask: Why can't I have a threesome? I am very clearly romancing both Dawn Star and Silk Fox, but when I get to the Throne Room in Chapter 4, the romance scene that is supposed to happen shows only Silk Fox approach me, while Dawn Star stands there silently. It also seems the romance is locked in (no way out), so when I come back from the Underworld in Chapter 6, I have Silk Fox approach me for the Kissing scene, and no sign of Dawn Star anywhere.
I followed the Way of the Open Palm. So did the girls. Why does Dawn Star suddenly forget all about our relationship? There is nothing on Google about this issue (especially since you're not supposed to be able to romance DS with Jen Zi) except the wikia, which clearly says Chapter 4's Throne Room scene should have them both approach you. I passed all checks on the dual romance before this, and they both had romantic dialogue before I left for the Master Li mission at the Palace. Silk Fox is the only one who approaches me at the Throne Room no matter how much I Load and play through old saves to get everything perfect. Things are as perfect as they can possibly get, so why is this happening?
Hi ScatCat I can't speak with any real authority about this I haven't added it from Nexus. But i think it's part of either "Jade Empire in Style" or "Jade Empire Big Gay Romance" Fix by DarthSieger.. There is no very dramatic dialog. But if you just keep saying you care about her feelings Etc. romance dialogs will eventually appear.. I think It will work if you haven't met Silk Fox yet
I was able to have a three way romance between the (PC RadiantJenZi), DawnStar and SilkFox .. I really hoped I could get them to sleep together but that wasn't in the cards .. So I know the dialog is there they just didn't give as much attention to dawnstar I think as SilkFox...
having the exact same issue... perfect playthrough up till chapter 4... then only Silk Fox before the throne room... have you figured it out by now? Its been some weeks after all
At first, I thought the mod wasn't working, since I didn't get any romance dialogue -I really should read the Comments section before jumping to conclusions. But I like the concept that the male romance dialogue lines are not used in the female romance of Dawn Star. It works beautifully, so thank you for saving this mod from fading away.

It solves this issue and allows you to continue!

Oh well...
I'd love to have this, but I've no idea where it goes and there's no txt file or note in the description etc to shed light on how to install the mod.
