seriously underrated mod. This is not just a novelty to use for a few minutes and then ya get bored with it… You can do entire playthroughs with this. I've done several
fyi I could be wrong but "enemy damage" settings seem to still be in effect, so if you keep getting killed by explosions you can turn enemy damage way down. (?)
also the explorer has the advantage that the monsters do not understand they have explosive rounds – they have not changed their tactics of course. While we know our rounds now have the ability to kill through walls and around corners.
Also fyi it's fun to experiment with different ammo types. For example 9 x 18 seems to be more suitable to close quarters so that you're not always killing yourself
A interesting idea , kinda surpriced you didnt die from enamy explosive shots ( or are in general the AOE Explosions weakend compared to the true granade thing )
What also surprised me, was how well the Game managed the amount of Explosions without crashing or lagging (obviously if the explosions happened right in your face, the Particle effects made it laggy )
unfortunate that this isnt possible as a "explosive" ammo type :,D ( HE-AMMOBULLET Type )
ahhh that explains the immunity from Damage x,D ( but i mean you could also wear FULL ARMOR or a mod which increases Armor points to have a more % resist against damage or atleast Explosion damage )
i like throwing granades , but sometimes i feel the range of them is LARGER against PLAYERS not against ENTITIES :,D ( including damage through walls)
the Pipe-nades from AKs though are very good comparedly :3
The game's explosion radius is so unpredictable and even clips through walls sometimes. I've reported it on their discord and they released a patch last year saying they "fixed" something about it but I still find grenades and propane tanks too risky to use.
