This mod replaces the music tapes (All 13 of them) that are found within the game's world - only the musical tapes have been replaced - the lore related cassettes remain untouched. All of them have gone through slight touch-ups, to not sound as pristine - hopefully adding to the "cassette feel" And while music can be very subjective, I hope my selection proves to be a good listening experience to you all!

FAQ: 1. How do I listen to the tapes? You can find cassettes while out adventuring in the Radius - then just use your cassette player (by bringing out your map). 2. Can I listen to the tapes again - while out adventuring? A tape can not be played twice, as the player essentially "consumes" the item. The only way to listen to them again is by using the computer in your base - or finding a duplicate of the tape while out in the wild. Unfortunately, I am not able to change this behavior, or add a 'replay' function - as modding is limited in this aspect.
1. Unzip the file 2. Navigate to "steamapps\common\IntoTheRadius\IntoTheRadius\Content\Paks" 3. Copy the .pak file into the folder 4. Done, enjoy listening!
Tested on game version: 2.7.2
A note regarding the optional files: If you are using both the original mod, and one of the optional versions at the same time - you should know that mod files inside ITR are prioritized by their alphabetical order - as such, please keep the filenames of these optional files, as they are - otherwise the original pack will be prioritized instead.
Regarding other mods - there are no known conflicts (aside from using other music replacement mods), and it is safe to be removed at any point during gameplay without it causing any sideffects.

PS. Christmas is quite cheerful while Into The Radius is.. well, it's the opposite. As such I tried to not go overboard with the music selection and stick to the feel of the game as best as I could (Spoiler: it's difficult, given the context), but hopefully everyone finds at least a couple of them enjoyable.

There are no genre restrictions, and it doesn't have to fit the game - it's your pack, your rules. Note:Generally I don't host these type of requests on Nexus but on Sharemods instead - the link and it's contents should not expire, but in the event that it does, I have backups of my own.
If you want to suggest songs for the community pack instead, keep the theme of the game in mind - I won't be too strict on it, but try to stick close. The ultimate goal is to have alternative versions of the packs, hopefully all adding to the experience. These packs are found under the 'Optional files' section.
