Cookie connoisseur .CO cookies have re-passed the UNPSC's updated health and safety requirements! (I've gotten them to work with 0.13.) Enjoy your sugary treats!
Seasonal cookies have been de-listed, and will be re-posted when their respective holidays roll around again. This has been done because I have found I am not proud of the valentines cookies and spooky munchies for a verity of reasons and I know I can do better. They will be re-done before they get re-released!
Been loving the mod for some time, do miss the Spooky ones, but can wait for the season to roll through. Honestly, kinda surprised at no Pecho cookies or anomaly themed ones. I can imagine it can be a bit of a pain, though, especially with the game still not being done.
I digress, thanks for the mod, still using it even now (just the Radius Tarts, currently)
I never even thought about Pecho cookies! I'm 100% adding that to my mod list.
The main reason I had taken down the seasonal cookies was because there were a few I was unhappy with including the valentines cookie (for it being lower quality than I would have liked) but more specifically the spooky munchies.
The spooky munchies were a jacko-lantern model generated using Luma AI and while I was satisfied visually with the end result, and I did put a lot of work into the model getting it looking nice, optimizing the texture set, ect, I was unable to take any pride in the spooky munchies because I knew no human had any input into that crucial planning / rough modeling portion of the process. since I released the spooky munchies last year, I have developed a much more critical stance towards AI and a strong desire for some new cookies that I can truly put my name on and feel proud about this time!
Wait, really? Oh boy, peeps are going to have a field day with Pecho cookies then lmao. And no worries, figured it was most likely an artistic choice. Really didn't know it was an AI generation and as someone that makes Suno music (I do all my prompts, lyrics and such) I can fully understand wanting to add more of the human element. That and it's kinda in your name lol.
Don't feel too ashamed for using a tool, though. I understand you guys have it rough on the modding front and if it can assist in the coding or ideas, then it's served its use. At least, that's how I've looked at it personally.
Thanks for the response, hard work and the link! The spooky munchies are deffo a favorite and I truly can't wait to see what you have in store for their re-release!
Man I wish there was a way to put all of these in the game at the same time for the variety of it, the game really needs more than three foods. I miss my pineapple cans.
Edit: I can not reproduce. If you have installed the cookie mod manually, make sure that the chocolate chip cookie files are the only files you have installed. If you are using Vortex, and the cookie texture is having issues, It's a common bug with vortex mod manager. A workaround that works for many others is to set your deployment method to "HardLink." To do this, you need to start managing your ITR2 installation, go to settings - Mods, make sure your mod staging folder is on the same drive your game is installed on, and change the deployment method to "Hardlink"
That was the goal! I've been interested in graphic design recently (I had just picked up affinity photo/designer to replace pixlr) and this mod has pushed me to learn so much about 3d texturing, graphic design, and unreal modding that I wouldn't have been capable of making anything remotely close to this mod as of two weeks ago. I appreciate the positive feedback as it reassures me that I am moving in the right direction!

I understand that some still really enjoy the spooky munchies, even if they are not entirely hand made so the most recent version of the legacy Spooky munchies mod is archived here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kEOiPRSR8KZj5vTvLzkVcIPsMfieFwA7?usp=sharing it is currently untested but should work.

such amazing graphic design
Amazing mod
I would love to see a new box texture though, it would be a nice addition imo
I just pushed an update that gave the boxes a much better look and I'm pretty happy with the results!
