    so your telling me that even if i take ownership of the windows apps folder away from windows and give it to admin (my account) this mod wont run on the microsoft app version? im trying to establish if the problem with the mod not working is that you supposedly cant edit the windows apps folder in any way, but you can actually do so by taking it away from windows, or this is my supposition more to the point

      Yeah I couldn't test it for the non beta version, as my save game had been converted to the newer version and didn't allow me to load it when I tried.
      Make sure to install it again after updating to be sure, the update may overwrite it

      why are these dlls not working in the non beta?? ain't it possible to grab the file non beta and change it?.

    Hey, if you ever have the time (and maybe modding tools) could you maybe do a another version that removes the game ending by researching all techs? In my opinion that is the real bottleneck as it has happened well before the turn limit in all my games and on all speeds (sometimes without focusing on science).

      Hey, I also believe this so I'm working on mods which remove the game ending by both techs & pollution.
      But due to the nature of how they're installed, they're all part of the same file, so I'll need to upload multiple versions to allow people to choose what combination of mods they want installed.

      Awesome! Thank you so much. I'd even do it myself because the tech ending bugs me so much, but I don't have the faintest idea how to.

    Hi, did you make the mod without modding tools? I was gonna wait for the mod tools to come out to try to get into some modding. Do you think/know if there is a way (without modding tools) to increase the number of research points needed for new techs and a way to increase the requirenments go get stars? (I want to make the earlier eras take longer)

      Hey, yes there are no modding tools available at the moment - I plan to make this an official mod if needed when they are available. To be honest it's very limited in what can be done at the moment, ie, can't change the stats of specific units/buildings etc.

      I am looking to see if it's possible to increase science requirements for tech at the moment though, however it may not be possible
