One of shaders (MXAO) is being problematic with ultrawide screen. I'm playing 21:9 ratio, 2560x1080. During cutscenes the effect is as on the screenshot. This is cutscenes issue only, normal gameplay is fine. EDIT: Image is also distorted with map open.
This is very common for MXAO. You'll notice in most games that you use it, this happens. If you check the screenshots that he provided for the mod, you'll see one where the boxes behind the spiderweb are doing it. This isn't a problem that only shows for you, it's this way for everyone. I believe it has something to do with the game pausing rendering behind the menu so the MXAO still picks up the image in the background and applies shadows to it, so you're seeing the shadows of other low poly renders behind the scenes to help with loading times. There is no "fix" or workaround for this that I know of. I've been using MXAO in various games and its always been there, I just ignore it.
It's basically the same issue SSRTGI has with this game and sometimes you can go into the add-ons section and try clicking on the depth buffers until you find the one that fixes it and then you are generally good to go for the rest of the session but you'll have to do it all over again next session.
The sharpening is just about the best graphics enhancement mod out there. Can't say the same for bloom and MXAO, they tend to produce either an inferior picture or occasional bugs. But sharpening is clearly better over the vanilla game. Very noticeable on faces!
1. MXAO uses rays for pixel calculations 2. It renders both shadows and indirect lighting which constitutes global illumination 3. It uses depth information
No problem. Yes it is unnecessarily complex because different entities make their own version of RT, GI or AO and due to intellectual property rights, they all end up having different names with different abbreviations.
Hello! The description says This package also contains the latest DLSS for 20xx and 30xx NVIDIA GPUs (DLSS v2.4.3.0). What is it and why is it needed? I have 4090. Do I need some other patch? Why suddenly dlss is separate from the drivers?

Same as RTGI or PTGI just a different name
