I have Upscaler with an active DLSS and mUpscaleType=0. But when I launching every time my game - it's automatically swithing for mUpscaleType=4 (TAA). Does it mean what I did not have DLSS support? I'm playing on NVIDIA GeForce MX330. And I have active ENB (NAT lll). Also, in game I didn't see any another module (DLAA, XeSS, DLSS and FSR2) after I press "END" bottom. I just see only TAA.
I have a Skyrim SE. Also, I did all steps with install in main folder and register. My game still didn't see any another module or just crushing when see and I'll trying to turn it ON. In my NVIDIASettings the Low Latency Mod = Ultra, btw.
I have an issue that prevents me from using this mod and apparently I'm the only one in the world with this issue (didn't see any mention of anything close happening to anyone else). Anyway, whenever I turn on FSR with this mod (and even the original from the Cyberpunk page) a weird purple glitch/hue appears on the right side of the screen, flickering and sometimes going away depending on where the light sources in the scene are. Sometimes it's subtle, but most of the time the right side has this wobbly purple bar that also develops some blocky glitches and defintely breaks this mod for me. If anyone has any idea on what the hell is going on it could be great if you shared.
By the way, I have a pretty uncommon GPU (5700 XT), could it be hardware specific?
What GPU are you using? I had a similar bug using an 570 4gb, but since getting an 6600, ir changed to plenty of small colored circles on the bottom of the screen lol. Mind you, this only happens on 1440p + DLSS balanced. I tried 1080p, 1440p, 1800p and 2160p, with all DLSS presets, and nothing wierd happened.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I didn't see it earlier... Anyway, I have a 5700 XT and I've only tested the highest preset (Quality I think) at 1440p. I'll try playing around with the settings to see if it goes away.
EDIT: well, thank you very much, I can finally play with decent antialiasing. 1800p doesn't seem to have any glitches and works fine with the Quality preset.
I get the strong feeling a lot of people are just using this mod incorrectly, so when it looks like s#*! because they didn't set it up properly they think DLSS/FSR is rubbish.
Two things you absolutely must do for it to look good.
1. Use the 2.1b version of the mod (found in the archive downloads). The latest version has a lot of ghosting (particularly around Aloy herself).
2. You have to run the game at 4K resolution as that's when DLSS/FSR is able to works its magic. Don't worry, you won't get the performance hit of running it at 4K with DLSS/FSR on. If you don't have a 4K monitor, then you need to use Nvidia's DSR option in the control panel to unlock higher resolutions above your monitors (no idea if AMD/Intel has a similar option).
3. (OPTIONAL) I would recommend running the game in fullscreen window with DSR on if you have a secondary monitor, as it can displace the position of anything on your secondary screen if you want to be looking at something else while playing the game if on fullscreen exclusive.
Hello, I've seen that this mod used to work for metro exodus enhanced edition but I cannot get it to properly work. The game keeps crashing and I have tried 3 different versions of this mod, the one right from the cyberpunk page the 8.0 beta 2 as well as this version and the FSR 2.2 (which I tried only because the other two wont work). I'm using an RDNA 3 card specifically the 7900xtx and I see the mods mention RDNA 2 does it just not support RDNA 3?
