Nice mod, thanks for sharing :) I would prefer something that can reduce damage by 50% or something like that. Is it possible to edit the files to make to 50% fall damage?
Just want to say that this game isn't playable without this mod. Making a game where fall damage is constantly a threat is bad game design and your mod fixes it entirely.
Bad game design? Maybe it breaks immersion when you're playing as a human that can jump off of mountains and land unfazed. The fall damage in this game is extreme, but to call the entire mechanic bad game design is just uninformed.

What works; * "No fall damage" functionality works as intended - after falling hard, instead of injury or fatal fate, the player character goes into a momentary dazed/disoriented animation with an audible groan - this is perfect, and feels realistic and apt. * Running jump onto strider/mount works, there is no issue. Haven't tried jumping from height to stationary mount, but I doubt I will ever need that particular move - this is Aloy, not Zorro! :D
What doesn't: * Achievements such as "Strike from Above" and "3 Strikes from Above" may be impacted by this mod, but it's already been called out in mod description, and this issue is a game limitation, so it's recommend to use this mod only after player gets those easy achievements first. No other achievements are impacted by this very useful mod!
Request; please add an additional functionality or create a separate mod for Double Jumping (and an optional version for Triple Jumping). All this parkouring style climbing, falls and tucked-in rolls by Aloy, but she struggles to jump onto even small boulders!
Just installed it (via vortex) and is not working for me. Loved the idea since basically she was raised as a Billy goat and I just took a header off a rock trying to figure the dam vantage path!
Try installing the mod manually. The instructions are written out in the description section, it's should be easy to follow. I am not sure how Vortex works exactly but if you do it manually you'll be all set.
Yes, the MOD works. However, when the MOD is 'ENABLED' it reduces the shard drop to 1 shard per kill. Once in a great while, 2. But mostly 1. Before I post a bug report, I would like to know if anyone else is having this issue. Thank you.
I don't believe that is related to this mod. I have never seen shards drop only one. I have also used this mod in conjunction with the rest of my mods. I think I had around 9 or 10 mods while playing and never saw an issue like that
I found where Vortex moves the Vortex controlled mods to: C:\Users\(User's_Name)\AppData\Roaming\Vortex NOTE: "User's_Name" is specific to your own name on/in your computer.
I do not understand how Vortex manipulates the data. Also, It may be that I have a corrupted save file from installing and then removing other mods. This is the most likely/probable cause. Thank you for your time.
UPDATE: 8-28-2022 Turns out it was a corrupted save file. Reinstalled the "Remove Fall Damage" Mod and all appears to be working well.
