Note the HP-Bar mod that is included in the patch/mod-pack has caused issues for some. If you wish to remove it go to :\Steam\steamapps\common\Hollow_Knight\hollow_knight_Data\Managed\Mods\ and remove the "EnemyHPBar.dll" from the folder to disable the HP Bars.
Might be able to change the scale of the HP Bars as well by going to :\Users\*YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\EnemyHPBar.GlobalSettings.json and editing the Scale sliders in Notepad (I have not tested this myself so backup and do this at your own risk.
If you fully uninstall (delete the folder) & re-install Hollow Knight and are still having issues after installing the patch go to :\Users\*YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\ and delete everything but the "User.dat" files and re-install

Why mod creators these days put the mod content past 4 paragraphs of notes and weird fonts? Just tell me what the flock the mod does please. I don't care what you did to make it. Put that at the bottom please. Warning labels need at most one line.
Edit: After reading the entire description, how is this not just blatant plagiarism? Are there any moderators on this site? This isn't original content, most of the changes were made by other people, and the description doesn't even say what the mod changes. This seems very against TOS.
After installing Vortex, the HK Vortex Support Mod, downloading Git Gud installer via Vortex, following the Read Me instructions to the letter, the mod does absolutely nothing. There is no health bar to be seen anywhere. It crashed NK the first time, but I rolled back to 1.4.X and HK launched with no problems.
Please advise how to make this mod work. Thank you!
To anyone who stumbles on this, just join the hollow-knight Discord. They have a properly maintained installer for all maintained mods, including the HP bar mod. Instructions on how to do everything.
I tried using the installer and after i run it i end up with 2 different hollow knight data folders The original from the game install Hollow Knight_Data and the one created by the installer hollow_knight_Data I've tried merging the folders and adding the new files to my oringial folder and it keeps crashing. If i change the name of the old folder to the one created by the installer the game doesn't start and gives me an error message saying the data folder is missing.
If you updated to 1.5 this could be your problem, the Modding API that HK mods are based on has yet to update so I need to wait. You will need to Roll-Back to 1.4.3.2 for now using the HK "Beta" settings in Steam
The 1.5 update has indeed broken the Git Gud Patch, the Modding API has yet to be updated. However you can Roll-Back to 1.4.3.2 if you have Steam in your HK Game Settings in the "Beta" options for now until an update can be made. I'm not sure if GOG has older versions of the game available.
Hello everyone! It is possible to activate/deactivate the individual charms? The problem is that by activating them all, including the one in the GRIMM DLC (Grimmchild), I don't see the flame bearers, and I can't pick up the flames and go on in the GRIMM quest. Thanks
Just to be sure, and it's a-lot cleaner then using the PurgeGitGud.exe that was included that I honestly never tested very much. I would go into "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\" and just fully delete the "Hollow Knight" folder. AND go into "C:\Users\*YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight and remove everything BUT the "User.dat" files (THERE YOUR SAVES). Steam usually likes to leave anything that it didn't install like mods & edits. Another note: the PurgeGitGud or Steam does not remove the mod added files from AppData and this might be your issue
