For any new people to this mod, unzip mod in downloads, then drag and drop the pak files into the Pak folder of the game. You will find it in the Content folder. Afterwards, launch the game and open the modlauncher with F8. Type in AnyTimeC and hit Enter. To open the menu press alt+o. Then simply pick a companion and enjoy. To avoid dealing with opening the owl post, rebind to a free key.
Modder made very beginning of instructions difficult with the "Extra zip" part. Unzip in downloads and drag and drop the Pak files into the main Pak folder of the game. Do not place them in ~mods. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your post it helped to clear things up, how would I go about using this with the Companions mod that they mention? What do I install from that mod to ensure all the companions can spellcast with protego, but also be able to use this menu?
First off, thank you. Quick question. I see that there is a text/database file with the companions and their spells. I.E. 63.OwenWynnStupefyExpelliarmusLeviosoFlipendoDescendoStupefyHeavyConfringo
Can these spells be changed? If so is there a list with the correct "spelling/filename" for the spells? I noticed that most of the companions (except Rookwood) use pretty common spells.
I recently got a steam deck and if you had a companion following on PC while playing then when you load up the game on the steam deck they are still there with you!
I just got a steam deck! How do you use it? is it just like on PC? I have to upgrade my SSD card so i’m still waiting to download it but i’m scared to go through all the trouble of downloading the mod just for it not to work
