Hi ZaraysMods, I've been a huge fan of your New Highlander outfit since you first uploaded it, it's sooo appealing to the eye! I do have a few questions I'd like to ask, of course you don't have to answer if you're busy, honestly, I understand.
But I'd still like to ask, regardless!
Question 1: would you be making this compatible with the latest in-game mod update to HL?
Question 2: would you possibly make it be compatible with deathlysallows Reshape overhaul mod?
And finally, Question 3: Would you make another alternative of your New Highlander outfit, that uses the knee-high boots from the Debonair Ensemble?
Again, huge, huge fan of your mod! Would love to hear back from you, whenever you get the chance to respond! Cheers!
Hi. I moved on from mdding HL. Finished it on 100%. And don't feel compelled to return to it with such "huge" content updates from the devs. Nothing more to see there and modding on Unreal Engine is a torture that I don't want to experience again.. 1) No. I believe this mod still must work fine with manual installation. Normal version at least. Alternative one is probably broken with recent update, since it includes old mesh. Don't know for sure, didn't test it. 2) Normal version is compatible already, alternative version is not. Probably alternative version will become compatible if deathlysallows will modify that blouse mesh in his mod. But there is no need for that since it's not used in any native outfit, it's just laying in game files. Nothing I can do about it even if I wanted to. 3) No. I don't even have a source code of that mod anymore.
Hey ZaraysMods, so sorry I haven't replied back. I've only just opened my notifications. (Didn't realise it'd been a week since you replied! So sorry about that! XD)
Thankyou for getting back to my post. Sorry if I asked too many questions, sometimes my mouth doesn't know when to quit yammering. But thankyou for answering them anyhow. I hope you enjoy doing whatever it is you're doing now, since moving on from HL. (I'm no modder, but I can probably understand the frustration of using certain programs.)
First of all, love this mod! I did want to ask if you would ever consider doing an optional version where you added the taller boots from the Debonair Ensemble? Either way you did an incredible job, and thank you :)
Don't know if you take requests, but would you be able to a recoloring of the Highlander robe to fit with this? I tried recoloring it with Outfit Studio, but it won't work in that. And I would love to wear that with this when it's all snowy outside.
Do you ever plan on making this same outfit but in the house colors maybe? I have no idea about modding so I actually dont know if that is possible or not but I love this outfit so much, I'd love to see it available in more colors.
Is there a possible way to change the scarf back to its original model? I really like this outfit, but I prefer the original model for the scarf since I use it with other outfits as well. It's totally cool if not, I'm just not very knowledgeable about mods.
Don´t worry I wasn´t requesting it, I´m just asking if there is a way to remove it without having to extract and edit the model on external software. I know eveything is possilbe lol, but sometimes there are easier ways.
I like the alternative outfit but there is the problem that the old holster is still shown as a shadow. Also, the collar on the neck looks a bit strange. There is something like a hole above the top button.
Maybe it is possible to remove the holster shadow on the pants as well as to correct the top a bit. As far as I know, the standard top the outfit actually comes from closes very well at the neck.
Regarding top. That model is not mine, it's unused model from game files. That hole is supposed to be there and I don't see any issues with it
And regarding pants, yes there are few light brown circles where holster was. When I modified that model, I only removed holster and belt, but I still use default material. And these circles are the issues of material, which you normally don't see because they are hidden by holster and belt. I might be able to fix that. But not sure if it will work.
Problem is that these pants are the only one, which fits to that top without clipping And both models have holsters) You probably don't need two holsters)
Ah I see :) Maybe you can use the top of the outfit "Debonair Socialite Ensemble" or from "Plaid Formal School Uniform"? I think both would go fantastically with the pants and have no holster, which is why you can leave the holster on the pants as it is :) Just as an idea.
Nah, the main idea of that alternative look is to use that top) Because it's unfortunately not used but I like that one I didn't pick top to the pants, I picked pants to the top)
I'm checking now if it will be better if I return the belt to pants Just without wand holster Probably it will look better

Anyway, thanks for replying back. Cheers!
try this
Both mods edit the same file
But I'm certainly will not do that
I like it as it is
You have to extract it and edit in Blender for example
