could you please replace the Hogwart Legacy soundtrack with Harry Potter movies soundtrack... espacially the music in Hogsmead (god im so sick of that soundtrack!)
- I would really love to do it, but right now the only tool to explore the sounds files are FModel. And there is a lot of them.. From simply "sighs", and groans, to effetcs and others SFX. That isn't as easy as you think it is.. Simply because, except for some audio files, there is more than 10k sounds to go through... And yet we find out the teleport sound, the RoR sound, and others stuff.
Also, the hogsmeade and hogwarts music, are in various file.
Or at least give us a guide of how can we do it ourselves (with musics of our own selections, even not potter related)
- There is a Hogwarts Legacy Mod Discord server, and I posted yesterday the full tutorial on how to mods sounds. Without shaming others, I asked several times on how to do this, and nobody answered. So I did the tutorial, for others as well. But I had to "understand" everything on my own, because nobody would answer me on how to do it.
Some did, BUT not to and extend on HOW to do it. Just being vague.
So yeah.. The steps to make this are easy, BUT very tidious not gonna lie. I almost gave up making this one, because for repacking the files, you needs to create folders inside of them.. and I added to the last one a capital letter, instead of regular one.. and I noticed when I repacked everything, so I had to redo everything. Even worse.. The lenght of the RoR music is 1 minute and 45 long. So if you do add a moded sound, it needs to be equal that lengh, or a bit less.. Because if you do add a sound that is 30 seconds long, the system considers that the "sound" is 1:45, and after 30 seconds the rest is silence. So I've noticed that too.. and I needed to REDO all the files in audacity, extend them with fade in, and fade outs to make the cuts as seemsless as possible.
Without talking about how some themes are more than 10 years old, and the quality was so bad.. that I needed to filter some stuff, and make sounds adjustements.

This isn't a rant. I do understand you 100%. If I could do more, I would gladly do more.. and even take requests. But for now, I only do what I can do :( which.. isn't much sadly.
Sorry, cant find in the discord channel where you post the tutorial (maybe I am looking at wrong server). Could you specify please the exactly server and channel?

Awsome mod by the way! thanks!
I have been desperate to find the correct AUDIO to replace that horrible theme in Hogsmeade. I swear, if I can find it, I will replace it asap!
Also the general background music inside and out of the castle :)!

A guy made a guide on how to change the portraits a while back. If this isn't more complicated, I would love to know...
And would you please explain why these mods generally replace only the background music in the Room of Requirement?
