trying to install this but for the life of me cant find where to install at running on windows 11 here i dont even have \appdata or phoenix when i locate the hogwarts steam files through steam im met with
engine phoenix hogwarts.exe
clicking through all of them i cant find \saved\config\windowsnoeditor
dont know if you still need help, but \AppData is a hidden folder which you can reveal by going to the file explorer options > view tab > under advanced settings choose "show hidden files folders and drives" > apply
My brother's laptop is an ASUS ROG G74SX A1 He has ran games with similar specs with no problem yet this game CTD after the seizure warning I have tried this mod and even lowered a few of them even more following another guide... Still CTD
HE has 12 GB ram GTX 560M 3GB vram card DX12 Windows 10 x64
I have noticed another game has told him he does not have DX12 when he clearly does and another game has told him he only has 1GB memory when he has 3 dedicated and 6 shared as well as 12 total installed in memory slots... ??
His latest graphics driver is 391.59 (about 2008 or 2011) Why is it games require updated graphics when there default specs are already high enough to be capable.
Sorry I ranted, I am just not cool with the tactics these companies are pulling. Any suggestions for editing the Hardware.ini?
To install simply backup your Engine.ini file and then replace it's whole content with the settings from above. Then go and delete EVERYTHING under C:\ProgramData\Hogwarts Legacy\ folder and run the game.
Hi, this mod has undoubtedly increased my performance, and I thank you very much, you did a great job.Unfortunately however, despite everything, the ram usage is always very high, forcing me to use the paging file and therefore a constant use of the hd, making the game a constant stutter... I wonder if something could be done about this problem in particular. My specs: 8gb ram 970 gtx I7 Hdd
Yes, I don't know if it used more before, but I know for sure that the game now runs better with your mod, unfortunately the freezes continue to be constant, especially inside the castle.
yeah for me the FPS only drops at some areas in Hogwarts, and usually only after I enter the door, but once the texture loads it runs smoothly, though the workaround that seems to work is to fast travel to the location you want to go instead of going by foot, and as weird as it sounds, sprinting seems to cause a huge stutter sometimes lol
