I am curious. Is changing a picture as simple as finding a clip I want and placing it (in the correct format of course) over the existing files, or is there more to it that requires editing, a specific file size, or some other issues. I would like to learn how to do my own picture replacements.
its in bink format you have to convert the clips, and use a video editor to crop and postion them, then export and get them back into bink format. you can´t just replace a animated painting with a mp4 clip.
thats how a painting looks like in the bink video https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/5113/images/672/672-1677330374-996998100.png
As for replacing the static paintings you need to use the unreal editor.
there is a good 6min tutorial on youtube, its not that complicated, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsSzTRUoUCI
Problem is with the freeversion of movavi (demo)you get a watermark first 10 seconds then 10 without then again 10 seconds watermark. But its good to learn the basics. and you can use losslesscut to cut out the 10 seconds without watermark, or you buy the full version.
Then with some experience you can download f.e Davinci Resolve(free), and do the paintings without any watermark at all, but using longer videos than 1-2 min can tank performance.

At least that was my way of learning this.
