I turned on the game today to discover that the Vignette suddenly appeared and is greatly annoying my eyes. So i found this and gave it a shot.
The no vignette only apparently does not work. currently trying other options but I have no idea why the vignette suddenly showed up in the first place.
Edit; Tried all the available options. still have this nasty vignette. I even tried the engine tweaks and other removal mods on the nexus, but nothing is working...
Edit2; after doing a bit of research, I am not sure if what I am seeing is the same vignette as everyone else. I uploaded a image to the images tab for reference.
I will never understand why modders choose to repack .ini files into a format that cannot be opened with notepad without first unpacking with unreal unpak tool.
I was curious if there was anything here I wasn't already doing because the files were so big.
So I took a look at disabled chromatic and disabled vignette pak.
Absolutely nothing new. Just a bunch of bloated lines of code to add the following two lines to the existing Engine.ini: r.Tonemapper.Quality 0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality 0
Already changed to engine.ini and uploaded it lol! Figured out it was reading it just fine. Many games won't read these files correctly and even reset them. Also the DefaultEngine.ini file is different from Engine.ini.
Both variants worked for me, likely a mod conflict or other user error. Modding this game is pretty finicky at the moment, doesn't tend to behave as well as other UE titles.

Love this for removing the vignette though, hate that effect so much, always makes me feel like I have to squint for some reason lol.
